Harry's point of view

I shut the book with much more force then necessary catching the attention of some incomers present in the book shop. Rowan shoved another book on the counter over the already piling books he was going to purchase.

"How much?" He asked the keeper.

"15 galleons, sir" he replied.

Rowan lazily tossed the money filled bag on the counter before making his way over to me. "What's the matter mate ?" He asked noticing the grimace over my face.

I shrugged after a long time coming out was not helping calm my nerves.
Rowan cast me a suspicious look but didn't push something I was grateful for.

I reached forward to grab another dark arts book when i heard a commotion. I shared a look with Rowan to which he only shrugged and nudged me to follow him.

I wordlessly followed him. That's when we saw a large crowd haloing something. Weaving and fishing through the people we finally succeeded to reach forward.

In the midst was a girl with blonde hair pulled in a pony tail and the other was all too familiar white headed boy to whom I've learnt to loath all through my time at Hogwarts .

"A pure blood ..." I heard the blonde speak before leaving not before harshly shoving past Malfoy.

Malfoy seemed a bit taken back. The look over his pale face made me almost laugh. A bully ended up getting bullied himself.

Joy. Sirius and Hermione would love to hear about it. Mostly 'Mione for calling her a mudblood. But at the same time a strange feeling arose in me as I looked at the retreating figure of the girl.

It was as if something has come live in my blood. Funny huh but it almost felt like a connection, a longing not in a romantic way or love at first sight but in a brotherly way.

I shook my head.'You're thinking too much Harry '

Rowan poked me in my ribs with his elbow. I shot him a glare and he just grin. His eyes twinkling as if telling me something I didn't know.

"See you later, mate" Rowan said patting my shoulder before leaving. Sauntering off to God knows where.

I furrowed my brow just then someone launched at me from behind the force almost knocking me off my feet.

I turned around with a deadly glare on my face. The person was a stranger with a girl in tow.

The boy and girl were wearing identical grin. No the girl's was more of a grim, at least the boy was grinning nonetheless.

"What?" I asked ruder than I attended.

The boy huffed, "what got your wand in a twist, Harry" he whispered the last part.

"Ron, 'mione" I whispered back. They nodded.

"Okay what got you so happy in this dreary world?" I asked suspiciously.

"Well" the girl begin, "Snuffles owled us earlier saying that you and Ron should also purchase your sets of books"

"For what?"

"You're going to Hogwarts "

I turned to him my eyes as wide as wide as saucers, 'really?" I whispered incredulously.

He nodded trying to tune down his excitement.

Ron and I fist bumped. I then turned to Hermione, "what 'bout you?" I asked sensing her dismay.

"Too dangerous" she sighed defeatedly, "Hogwarts is no longer a place for muggleborns such as me" she gravely replied.

I placed a comforting hand on her shoulder and gave it a squeeze. Honestly I felt bad for her. It's not up to her to choose which blood runs in her veins.

"It'll be okay, 'mione " I ensured her.

"Thanks, Harry" she gave me a forced smile, but after all the years of being friends with her I could see right through her.

"See you, Snuffles want me home. Says it's not safe for me" she lividly spat, not before emphasising the word me.

I was about to object but Ron beat me to that, "'course, we will see you soon" he hurriedly dismayed her.

I mentally face palmed. Dork.

"Of course!" Hermione exploded, her outburst startling me and Ron," I shall go, there is someone who is bothered by my presence" with that she left with a huff. Talk about dramatics.

"I swear she is mental" Ron muttered under his breath.

I punched his arm, " what?!" He hissed rubbing his arm.

"Way to go man" I stated walking forward to search for my year books. My ears perked up at Ron furiously muttering something under his breath.

I picked up a book checking its hard spine. 'Dark arts' it read I let it drop back and picked up another book. 'Unforgivable curses' I sighed placing the book back.

"What's the matter, mate?" Someone asked startling me.

Rowan chuckled coming behind me, "oh don't botter looking all of then are dark arts books" he explained picking a few books and tossing it at me.

"Here. You're all set" he said chuckling enjoying seeing me having a hard time carrying the books.

I rolled my eyes adjusting the books asif walked and dumped them on the cash counter.

"16 galleons" the lady informed me.

Before I could do anything, Rowan once again tossing the money paying for me.

"Didn't have to do that, Ro" I sincerely said.

He passed me a small smile, " it's the least I can do" he replied shrugging.

I sighed about to grab my books when Rowan elbowed me in the ribs.

"What?!" I angrily hissed rubbing my side. Rowan passed me a cheeky smile pointing towards the street where Ron was waving at us. His new robes clutched in his hands.

"Lets go" I said fluting my books and about to leave when Rowan stooped me and pointed towards the book shelf.

A book was missing clutched in the mysterious Blonde,s hand. She was intently staring at me and Rowan.

Creepy.

Her eyes shifted to me and I was shore I saw something flash into her eyes. Something like recognition.

'Impossible', i thought. It was impossible to recognise me in this disguise

Before I could make any other prediction Rowan shoved me out of the shop making me drop the books.

I turned towards him with a deadly glare imprinted on my face.

'His so dead'

Rowan cheekily smiled slyly waving his wand in the air making all the books disappear

I sighed it was going to be a long day.
