As you were crying into your pillow, you begged and begged that a genie would appear so that you could make alllll of this a dream.
But no genie came.
"Wake up, wake up! C'moooon!! This can't be real!!!" "Hey, y/n? Can we come in?" It was Kaoru. He sounded really concerned. Nonetheless, you cared not. "No," you replied. "Well too bad. We're coming in anyway." The voice came from none other than Hikaru. "HNNNNNNNNG!!!" You groaned with displeasure. They walked in and sat on the bed with you. You insisted on pretending they weren't there until a certain someone tried to pull something sneaky.
Hikaru, what the friggity fraggity FUCK are you doing?"
"Uh, seeing if I can get a reaction from you too?"
"The fuck?" You gave him a disgusted look. You were not in the mood.
"Kill me," you said.
"I'd have to get a li~ttle something from you first..."
"Bitch, don't you know you're supposed to take a lady out on a date BEFORE you try to fuck with her?"
"Point taken y/n. Where are we going?"
"HIKARU!!" You and Kaoru spoke in sync.
"I suppose your jealous he didn't ask you first Kaoru?"
"Maybe. O-or maybe I wanted to ask you out fir-" Kaoru stopped talking.
"Oh ho ho! So you are jealous, but for a different reason! Hee! You guys are too much!"
Wait, why am I saying this?
"But," the Hitachiin brothers looked at you, wondering why you paused. "I'm still upset." "Well then, why don't you just sing?" They questioned.
"?Why??" "When you sing, it's like you're a whole different person."
"Yeah. Like, your face glows and suddenly your happy."
Guess they really want me to...
"So why don't you?" they asked in unison. But it sounded more like a demand than a question. Either way, you were convinced enough and complied. You took a deep breath and-
"Playground school bell rings, again," Your voice was soft and evanescent (get it?)
You were singing Hello by Evanescence.
The sound of your voice made the pair of gingers a little less soulless.
"Soon I know I'll wake, from this dream,"
Hikaru joins in.
"Don't try to fix me I'm not broken,"
And Kaoru too.
"Hello, I'm you're mind, giving you someone to talk to. Hello?"
The three of you were in harmony.
Their sound along with yours was beautiful. You never knew they were so good. The words that flowed from your vocal chords dissolved into the air with every next verse making it's way through your emotions. It was heart-rending.
"suddenly I know I'm not sleeping, Hello,"
The music that formed between you three released tension. You felt like you could be more relaxed around them.
"All that's left of yesterday."
The song drew to a close. But there was a problem. Your face was heated, and flushed to bright pink. Your eyes were in so much pain and your throat was so dry you felt like choking. Then...
One...
Two...
Three...
Gradually, your hands got wet from your unexpected tears. Neither of the twins noticed at first. But it didn't take them very long to realize you were crying.
Hikaru couldn't quite figure out how to help you at first, but Kaoru understood immediately and wrapped you in his arms. That only ended up making you cry more. "Ah! I'm sorry y/n! I-I'll move-" "No, d-don't." You were trembling all over the place. You didn't know why you were crying or why Kaoru's affection made it worse. However you did know that you didn't want him to let go. You didn't want them to leave. Not yet anyway.
You soaked Kaoru's shirt in salty tears, but he didn't seem to care. Not that he had a choice. Hikaru joined the hug, sandwiching you yet again for the umpteenth time since you all met. "I'm sorry," he said almost inaudibly. "Me too," Kaoru said in a hushed voice. "Please, don't be," you whispered back, faltering over the words. "First impressions are always deceiving. I-I should be sorry for not trying to give you both a chance. It's just..." They looked at you again. "Just... Don't let go for awhile, okay?"
The rest of your time was spent in silence. No, really! You three fell asleep like that.
You parents and brother came home later that day. When they came in your room to check on you, you three were still sound asleep. They took about a dozen pictures. Yeah, they'll never let you live it down.
You, Hikaru and Kaoru woke up 2 hours afterwards. Thanks to you being a restless sleeper, you three were in a very awkward position... that will forever remain CONFIDENTIAL!!!
You begged them not to tell the other hosts or your friends, but all you got was, "No promises."
Kyoya-Senpai probably knows already, but Tamaki's gonna freak.
Guess you'll just have to wait and see!!
