Before Tom can finish his sentence he heard a noise coming from his apartment door
"Must be Matt.."
The door handle opened as Matt walks in with a bag
"Hello, roomie!"
Matt said happily as ever
"Oh hey, I'm just studying for my finals"
I said exhausted
"Oh, okay, well, I'm gonna go make dinner"
Matt said as he walks into the kitchen
"Okay"
I said tiredly
Tom has been studying all day, He was so tired that he can't even keep his eyes open.

After dinner, Matt was in the bathroom brushing his teeth as I continue to study
"Tom, your wasting your time, come to bed, your exhausted!"
Matt said as he took the toothbrush out of his mouth
Tom sighed before closing his laptop and climbing in bed
"Aren't you gonna brush your teeth?"
Matt asked
Tom groaned and turns to Matt
"not tonight Matt I'm exhausted."
I said desperately for sleep
"Ugh, you're disgusting.."
Matt said grossed out
After Matt got done brushing his teeth he climbed into bed and tucking himself in
"Goodnight Tommy!"
Matt said before closing his eyes
"Don't call me that you weirdo.."
Tom replied before falling asleep

Matt woke up before Tom did, He was proud of himself that he got up earlier than Tom.
Matt remembered that Tom has a big test today, so he started to shake Tom side to side
Tom finally woke up and Matt reminded him and Tom started to gather his stuff for the test
After Tom got into his car and drove Matt decided to make breakfast for himself after he made breakfast for Tom before he left
Matt opened the cabinet and took out Noodles and started to make them,
When he was done he sat on his bed and started eating his noodles till Ringo came in and lied on his lap
BANG
Both Matt and Ringo heard the loud noise
Matt grabbed Ringo and ran out the apartment door to see a boy in a light green hoodie with clouds and stars on it laying in the middle of the road back turned on his side in the pouring rain

Matt freaked out, putting Ringo back into the apartment and running towards the person
Matt picked him up and ran back into his apartment and placed the person on the sofa causing the sofa to collect leaves, mud, and rainwater.
His eyes opened and Matt was relieved that the person was okay
"Oh my gosh, mister your soaked!"
The person shouted
Matt looked down at his wet clothes
"I'll be right back."
The person got up off the sofa and ran out the door
A few minutes later he ran back in with a purple hoodie that looked like his, Clouds, Stars, and a few hearts
He handed the hoodie to Matt
"Here, put this on"
Matt took it and put it on in front of the person
It was a bit big, it covered his shorts so it looks like he's not wearing any
He thought it was beautiful
"Thank you!"
Matt said
"Your welcome!"
He replied
"What's your name by the way?"
The boy said
"My name is Matt"
Matt said
"Oh, my name is Edd, I just recently moved here and I don't have many friends here.."
Edd said
"Oh well, you can be my friend!"
Matt said
"Really? Thank you!"
Edd said
Matt looked outside to see Tom pulling in
"I think it's time for you to go, my roommate is coming"
Matt said
"Oh, you have a roommate?"
Edd said
"Yeah, you better go home"
Matt said
"Oh okay, see you tomorrow Matt!"
Edd said as he speed-walked out the door
Tom came into the room
"Matt who was that person who just left?"
Tom said confused
"Oh, that's Edd, he's my new friend! I met him today"
Matt replied with a smile that could light up a room
"Okay, maybe I can meet him tomorrow"
Tom said
"Anyway, how was the test?"
Matt asked climbing into his bed
"Well, it went well, but I only got a B+. It was close though"
Tom said stressed out
"Well, at least it went well"
Matt said tucking himself in before falling asleep
