INTRO.

"They're coming.." He hissed into his cell phone.

"Who? Why do they want me?" She replied in a shaky voice.

"Hide!" He whispered with intense force.

This can't be happening.

Not again.

"Please help me." I whispered as I sobbed, climbing into my dad's closet.

"You made your choice." He replied.

"You gave me no choice!" I whispered back sternly.

But yet he did.

Who am I to say he didn't?

"I showed you the two paths. You chose the one without me. The one that will destroy, alter the past, present, as well as the future and you riddened me to hell. Now they come looking for you. I thought you weren't scared, my loveliest Ezmeralda."

"I'm not yours." I gritted my teeth together, barely spitting it out as I clutched my hand tightly to my cell phone.

He laughs histarically.

He's crazy.

"But oh, my love. You will be. You will be."

"Stop!" I scream as I slam my phone to the ground and clutch my head, digging my fingernails into my scalp.

It hurts so bad.

Their whispers take hold.

Telling me that I am worthless. I am a pathetic excuse.

My hand clutches my throat and squeezes, until I cannot breathe.

"I..am..not..scared.." I croak out, laughing at the forces within them.

They do not know.

I am equally as powerful, if not, I am MORE.

Foolish and ignorant, they are.

I close my eyes, and let out a roaring cry.

My hand drops from my neck as I squeeze in deep breaths of sweet, tantilizing air.

I have won.

For this night at least.

I rest against the wall, pushing my bangs off my forehead.

And fall into a quiet slumber.

Sweet, sweet slumber.
