Pt.7: Small time skip & Sad News

It's been half a year now, I've spent it with my brother and the others and I've gotten closer to Taehyung, he was the first to confess his feelings to me and we've been dating for half a year, it was a few months after that one incident with the beach ball that we both come to realisation that we have liked each other. 

Jin was very surprised that me and Taehyung are dating at first, but he has gotten used to it. Jungkook didn't speak to me for a while, I found out why a few weeks after - it's because he liked me too, but I can't help it. I love Taehyung. 

But now it's been half a year and Taehyung has changed, we both have. It feels like we're flowing away from each other, like...if we're being ripped apart. In half a year, they will be back to doing their careers as idols and I won't see them as much. It'll be hard for both of us - not only that but I've recently received a job offer in America...

I've taken it but with how things are going with me and Taehyung, I think it's best if he lives without me and I, him. I will always cherish him and love him, but from afar. 

Today is the day I break up with my love, the day I leave for America...

I fiddled with my fingers as I stepped into the living room, my clothes and everything has already been packed and waiting for me near the front door. But first, I have to break the news to my brother, then I will get to telling Taehyung. 

"Seok-kyunnieee!" Jimin came running behind me, his arms looping around mine and I stared down at him, "I need your help!" He looked worried, I frowned lightly and looked towards the living room where Jin was. "What is it, Jimin?" I asked, "It's...It's Jungkook and Taehyung, they're at each others throats again..You see, Taehyung brought up the past fight between them over you, Jungkook got triggered and now they won't stop yelling at each other." He pulled onto my arm, "I guess I can help." I said with a low tone, following him into Jungkooks room. 

"YOU STOLE HIM FROM ME! IT'S YOUR FAULT!" Jungkook yelled in Taehyungs face, "WELL HE LOVES ME, SO....IT'S NOT MY FAULT YOU LOST YOUR CHANCE!" Taehyung responded. "Guys please calm down.." Jimin butted in but all he got was "SHUT UP JIMIN!" from both of them. 

He tilted his head down and I sighed, picking up a book that was close to me. I threw it at the floor space inbetween them. "Still fighting over me? It's not good to fight with friends, over a boy. Hug and make up, right now!" I folded my arms and they both turned to me, their eyes widened slightly. "What?  Have I got something on my face? Haven't you two grown up yet? I know it's hard for both of you, but come on...You two have been friends longer than I have been around, do you think it is fair to be at each others throats?" I looked at Taehyung and then at Jungkook, Taehyung walked over to me and took hold of my hands, he sighed out lightly. "I'm sorry for getting you into this trouble, I will listen to you.." He smiled a bit and then looked to Jungkook. 

He let go of my hands and stalked over to Jungkook, "Jungkook-ssi...I am sorry for arguing with you, please...let's not argue anymore." He smiled lightly and Jungkook eyed him down before fighting back his tears and smiling at Taehyung.  "I...forgive you, I am sorry for arguing with you too, hyung..The past is the past, I shouldn't let it get to me." He pulled Taehyung into a hug and I smiled. "I need to talk to Taehyung about something soon, but first I need to talk to Jin. " I patted at Jimins back, "Okay hyung, see you soon!" Jimin chirped happily and I left Taehyung, Jungkook and Jimin in the room. 

Rushing out to the kitchen and peeking my head inside, Jin wasn't there so I rushed to the living room to find him sitting with Namjoon. 'It's better if Namjoon is there too just in case Jin cries a lot and it'll be more comfort for him..' I stepped inside and shut the living room door, I slid around the couch and sat opposite Jin and Namjoon.
