Having a laugh with One Direction

Chapter 13

----------------Lily's POV----------------

As I reach the bottom of the stairs Liam appears, "Where are you going?" he asks.

"Isn't it obvious? I'm going out shopping in a bikini and only taking a towel with me!" I reply, sarcasm dripping off every word.

"Ooooh! Lily! I've never heard you being sarcastic before!" Harry exclaims appearing out of nowhere.

"Well get used to it!" I say venomously.

"Ooh! Nice one Bubblegum!" Louis appears joining in.

"Vas happening?" Zayn asks coming from the living room.

"Hey! What's going on here?" Niall asks stopping halfway down the stairs.

"Jeez guys! I'm going for a swim now shut up!" I say storming outside.

"I think it's someone's time of the month." Louis whispers to the boys.

"What?! You did not just go there!" I scream at him. Niall rushes over to me trying to calm me down but I push him off, through my towel onto a sun bed and diving into the pool.

I swim lengths for around an hour before climbing out and grabbing a li-lo. I put it into the pool and lay down on it. As I lay in the nice warm sun the world slowly fades out.

I'm back at the hotel dancing in the Grand Hall with the rest of my family when one of the little ones grabs a table cloth and pulls it off the table. The candles fall to the floor and within seconds the whole hall is in flames. My family members are running around the Hall screaming and crying, some are phoning the emergency services. I look over and see my parents and little sister all on the phone. The last word they say are, "We love you too!" before the smoke takes over and the roof falls in.

I wake up screaming, tears pouring down my face and sobs racking my body.

"Shhh, it was only a dream." Niall whispers in my ear.

"B-b-but it wa-wasn't!"

"What's wrong?" Niall asks looking concerned.

"I-I-I s-saw t-them."

"Saw who baby?"

"M-my p-p-parents! I was there! I saw them d-d-die!" I say burying my head into his shirt.

"It's gonna be okay."

"NO! It's NOT gonna be okay! I'm never going to hug them again, I'm never going to laugh at my Dad's terrible but funny jokes! I'm never going to get advice from my Mum! I'm never going to have boy talk with my little sister, never comfort her when she gets her first heartbreak! I'm never going to see them alive again! It will NOT be okay!" I cry, sobbing harder that before. Liam grabs one hand while Louis grabs the other, Zayn rubs my back, Harry strokes my hair and Niall has his arms wrapped tightly around me.

"You may not have your parents, but you have us." Liam states firmly.

"Of course you do! We'll look after you! You are my Bubblegum!" Louis says squeezing my hand.

"We are your family now!" Zayn says hugging me from behind.

"Yeah we'll not let anything hurt you! In sorry for what I did." Harry says, slightly mumbling the last part.

"And you are my Baby Princess, I love you and I will love you forever!" Niall says. I look up and see they all have tears pouring down their cheeks and they are all liking at me with loving looks. Not the boyfriend-girlfriend love but the family, caring love. I believe every word they said.

"I forgive you Harry." I croak, my voice hoarse from sobbing.

The other boys wraps their arms around Niall and I and engulf us in a group hug as I slowly begin to calm down.

When I finally stop crying I look up at Niall and see we're thinking the same thing. We grin at each other and scream, "BREAKFAST TIME!" Niall grabs my hand, I grab Louis' ,hand, Louis grabs Liam's hand, Liam grabs Zayn's hand and Zayn grabs Harry's hand! We all go inside together and eat our delicious breakfast.

I am sorry the last chapter was really short. My best friend Heather has convinced me to keep writing this story because, in truth, I only published this because I sent her chapter 1 and she wanted to read more.I've realised that it doesn't matter if anyone else reads this because I know she will.
