I am just a man
A man with a mind and flesh
Nothing with, I am
This heart that I have
Is something that beats for me
To survive, for me.
Living this life, I am
Full of shackles called "standards"
A great life, indeed
Blessed I am, for these
from Above: wonderful gifts
Talent and wisdom
Such were not wasted
Used as intended, it was
I thank Him for those
Still, this heart of mine
Just beats for me to survive
What else is this for?
Love, everyone says
What is love, I frankly asked
Loyalty, it is
Love, everyone says
What is love, I frankly asked
Affection, it is
What are they saying?
Right, I currently live in
A world full of love
Why can't I get one
Unlike the others, I see
Flowery standards
Opportunity makes
Strangers to very best friends
Ah, beautiful fate
I asked, what really is
my very purpose in life?
I sought real answers
A passive wingman
To each of my dear best friends
Who have their own love
A supportive man
To each of my dear best friends
Who have their own love
A rust covered knight
To ease my best friend's frail heart
Shattered by bastards
A nonsense poet
Gives useless piece of advice
To my best friends, yes
It's better this way
Come; leave me and help yourself
Not to become me
For my heart only has
Nothing, nothing but nothing
A single like me
