The birds flocked together as one cawed and squawked loudly for the others to come near. Once a few had come close, they too, started squawking. After a few minutes, around 40 of these birds had flocked around a single one, which lay on its side, white eyelid shut and never to open again. The quiet was deafening to Mag. She had seen plenty before this one pass, mostly due to natural causes, but lately, more had been passing on to the next life due to Grimm. The creatures of darkness that run the abandoned land of Remnant, especially in Vale, where she was.

A Beowulf from what she remembered, and every bird scattered, white undersides if their wings flashing as they got into the trees. But she didn't stop in a tree. She kept going. She kept flying. She needed help, and she would get it.
She was returning to Beacon.

Especially with the summer being almost over and me going into 11th grade. Lots more tests and lots more stress. Hope you guys like my RWBY book? It's my only RWBY book. Also, feel free to guess the birds I'm talking about. Here's a hint: they're west coast birds. Anyways, thanks for reading and sorry for the short ass thing. Lol. Bye.
