Blame

We arrived at the hospital. He led me to one of the rooms. We stood at the door there was my dad. Sitting in a chair with my baby brother in his arms. I've never seen him so happy. He knocked to let him know someone was entering. My dad looked up and saw Dr. Cullen but I was part way behind him. Then i came out from behind him and my dad looked at me his smile disappeared. A tear went down his face as he stood up. He handed the baby to the doctor and came closer to me.

"Buddy I'm so sorry, i didn't mean for any of this to happen. I love you and will never let you out of my sight again. Oh god Rider you don't know the hell I went threw tonight.!"

"Dad". He keeled down and hugged me. I winced as he squeezed tight cause my back still hurt. He backed away and cuffed my face in his hands.

"Are you hurt, did anyone harm you?" 

He moved my head in several directions. "Dad."

"I hope those people pay for taking you away from me and scaring me so bad." I was getting annoyed.

"Dad." He hugged me.. I winced again.

"You weren't Evan gone that long and.." I was done so i cut him off.

"DAD!" He shook his head. And looked straight face with me.

"Yes Rider?" Tears started to stream down my face.

"Moms gone isn't she?"

11 YEARS LATER.

It's been eleven years since i was abducted and my mother passed away. I haven't been really able to talk about my situation to anyone. The glowly thing in my arm wasn't able to come out. They said it was determined to blow up if it was removed or at least 2 inches from my body. The guys who kidnapped me were never caught. My little brother alec is eleven. I do everything In my power to protect him. Knowing there are still people out there who like to do sick shit to little kids. I ask my dad to change his name but he didn't know why only cause I never told anyone the names of those men or anything. Afraid they would find me and fuck me up..

"Rider come down here for a minute.!" 

My dad didn't remarry. He's had three girlfriends since my mom passed. I tell him every time.

"Your just trying to replace mom to get rid of the pain so stop. You don't need someone else in your life. You can't trust people."

 He tells me i only say that cause what happened when i was eight. And if that wouldn't of happened I would never say anything like that. That i would be normal. He still dosnt completely understand why I haven't told anyone. Its bull shit.

"Rider layne!!".Jesus.

I ran down the stairs. I saw alec sitting at the table eating his left over dinner. It was like 11:00pm.

"What Blake?" I started calling him by his name since I was ten. When he became a giant drunk. And stopped really giving a shit.

He scoffed at me for calling him by his name.

"What did i tell you. You need to put all this behind you. That was like 12 years ago!" He a dumbass can't Evan remember the year his wife died and his child went missing.

"It was eleven and I said I would call you dad when you got his name legally and mine changed to something else." When I got home from healing from the hospital from my wounds I cringed every time someone would say my name. Especially my dad cause he had a deep voice like the guys.

"What in the fuck is so wrong with your name." Alec looked up and confused.

"I want to change my name......so not fair" Blake slammed his hand on the counter.

"Alec there's nothing wrong with your name and neither is there anything wrong with your brother's. He just wants attention cause he's a little lonely cause he's a teenager." Alec looked at him to me and he could tell what Blake had said really hurt me.

"That wasn't very nice dad."  I looked at Alec.

"I really don't care cause he needs to get his act together. That what his mom would want. For him to let this all go and forget all of it." I looked at him like he was the dumbest Person ever.

"What type of drugs are you on Blake. You hurt mom and now your hurting your kids. Do you Evan realize what your saying?" He was wearing a grey hoodie with the sleeves down. He never does. I walked over to him and lifted his sleeves.

"What the hell Blake.....heroine. really?" He had needle marks up and down his arms.

"You stress me out." He made me super pissed. He was like a totally different guy when I came back and after mom died. I get it it's a loss of someone close to you but God Fucking damnit.. I put my sleeve over my knuckles and punched him in the jaw. He fell backwards on the floor. He wasn't knocked out or anything but his mouth was bleeding. He looked up at me with anger in his eyes. Shit. 

"Alec go upstairs and don't come out Evan if you hear loud noises.!" I told Alec. He didn't need to see this. Me knowing this was gonna get bad. He got out of his seat and went upstairs. Blake slowly stood up and held his jaw. His eyes didn't move off of me.

"You were kidnapped what did you do while you were there. Punching people." He laughed. I went to shove him and he grabbed both of my hands and pushed me to the ground. He was on top of me. 

"Get off of me bastered!!!" He held my hands down and creepily smiled at me. 

"Did you people have a safe word?" I squeezed my eyes shut. This is not happening. Hes high on drugs and drunk on liquor. He didn't know what he's doing.

"What the hell are you doing Blake?" He just looked at me. Then a sharp pain built up on my face. He had hit me. He started just hitting me in the face. One punch after another. I could tell my mouth nose were bleeding.

He stopped and leaned down close to me ear and whispered.                             
"What's the safe word Rider?"

"The fuck is wrong with you?" He kept hitting my chest. He grabbed a knife from the counter and set himself on top of me again. 

"Blake you don't know what your doing." He traced my jaw line with the knife. He cut a little by my ear.

"When your sober your gonna regret this.!" He traced my neck and cut a little. He raised his arms with the knife.....no.no.no.no

"Mom wouldn't want you do this. She would hate you for killing her son." I heard the front door open thinking it was the police. Oh thank you Alec. 

"Your mom wouldn't want you to suffer thinking it was your fault she's dead.!" Are your fucking serious.

A gun was being loaded and cocked. I heard it come from behind Blake. Then he got shot in the back of the head. He fell on top of me. And the knife stabbed the floor above my head..... Fuck.
