Chapter 1 - Intro

???'s POV

"Run run run run run!" I yelled. We made a sharp right turn, knocking down some trash cans to slow them down.

"Where do we go?!"

"Wherever! As long as we don't reach a dead... end..."

Right in front of us was a, you guessed it. Dead end. "Oh shit! They're close!" We looked around for an escape, their voices getting louder. Fuck it.

"TIC TAC!" I yelled as I started climbing up the wall, the others doing the same. I looked down once I reached the rooftop, seeing them come around the corner.

"Hey! Stop right there!" one of them yelled. Come on Eagle! One more jump! My heart skipped a beat when the sound of gunfire was heard.

He gave a shaky 'woah' as he landed on his feet, almost tripping from dodging the bullet. We congratulated him as we jumped from roof to roof, wolf whistling from time to time.

"That was close," I commented, slamming the van doors closed.

"Yeah. Too close for my liking," Eagle replied, shivering in his seat. "Hey, is everything in the back?" he asked as Coda got in as well.

"Yup, time to hit the road," he said, putting on his seatbelt. Switch gave a small nod as he stepped on the gas pedal. As the small secluded area got smaller, I let out a sigh of relief, taking my mask off.

"That was fun," Switch said. We all hummed in agreement. It was fun to be honest. Just a group of friends, running away. Oh, and I forgot to mention. We're CRIMINALS.

Ok, so if you don't know what "tic tac" is, it's a way of climbing. Second of all, yeah. The first chapter's short. Sorry about that. I'll try and publish the second chapter ASAP.
