Well 8th grade was really stressing, I don't even want to bore you with the details. Plus this story is about me and Evan, not my school homework and grades. So I'm just gonna skip to high school. Anyways I was really excited. New school, new me. I almost forgot about Evan until I saw him walking down the hall. But something was off. He waved to me with a nice smile, but I just didn't feel it. It was like I lost feelings for him. Over 8th grade I must've not been in contact with him so much that I forgot I had feelings for him to begin with. Maybe this was meant to be. Maybe we weren't meant to be together. The universe knows what's best. Right? Well I guess I'll have to see where the universe takes me. I was walking down to my first class. Math. But the first thing I saw. Evan. Seriously?? He had to be in the same class as me? I just tried surviving the day without talking to him. "Hey Itzel." Elie said "Oh hey." "Were walking back home. Wanna join us?" I saw Evan coming my way. "Sorry, can't, I have to do something here for a little bit." "Oh ok" Said Alexia "Cya tomorrow!" Said Elie. "Bye." I said. I turned around to find Evan still walking towards me. "Hey!" Hey said. "Hey!" I said back. "I don't know if you remember me.." "Excuse me? I dont think I know you, sorry." I said. "Oh sorry..ok bye then.." he said "Wait! I was just kidding!" I laughed. "Of course I still remember you!" Evan turned back my way. "Oh haha" "Hey it's been a long time hasn't it?" He said "I know right!" "We should catch up, there's a new cafe nearby here? Wanna come with me." I think my heart skipped a beat. Did he just...ask me out? "I— uh— sure—- I mean — totally!" "Cya at 4!" Then he walked away smiling. I think I almost fainted. I can't believe he actually asked me out. I think I might die of a heart attack right now.
