The bus ride to Atlanta was too long, I slept the whole trip here. Now I'm in a small run down motel trying to forget the last 48 hours of my life, but its very hard to forget that my own father sold my innocence for drugs and that I killed a man. It wouldn't be long before the cops caught up to me and lord knows I'm not cut out for jail. I sat there for two hours just thinking about a plan then suddenly it hit me, I have to become someone else I have to change my name, appearance and and get me a phone ASAP. I have 10 thousand dollars in my purse and its only 3pm so I started walking hoping to spot a salon. Half an hour later I walked into a little salon called Andres it was filled with black people and hip hop music was blasting through the speakers, the atmosphere seemed really relaxed. I signed my new name Destiny on the list up front and sat down to wait. 5 minutes later my name was called and I was escorted to a chair by a really pretty brown skin girl with blue hair, it looked really nice on her and made her brown eyes pop. I sat down and asked her to make me look like a completely new person. "so you want extensions?" she asked me and I nodded my head yes "what length?, how many bundles? what style? you want color or naw?, she kept shooting questions at me and because I've never had extensions before I was very confused so I just nodded to everything she suggested. At the end of my session I had long black hair reaching my lower back. It gave me a more mature look from my regular shoulder length hair. I was loving it even thou I had to pay 600$ dollars for it. I left the salon feeling like a new person now all I needed were some contacts, a cell phone and a car. I went to the beauty supply store and looked for contacts I decided on some gray ones. I went to the bathroom and used the mirror help me put them on. I then decided to get a cell phone. I took the bus to the mall and went into a sprint store I was checking out all the latest iPhones and androids when I suddenly heard yelling. I turned around and there was a crowd surrounding two girls who were on the verge of fighting. It sounded like they were arguing over a Nigga named King. "bitch stay the fuck away from my man with your white ass he don't want your loose pussy ass" I shaked my head whats wrong with people these days just because she white doesn't mean she's not good enough. "hoe that's not what he said when he was eating this pussy!" the white girl replied I just shook my head went back in the store and picked up the latest android, I got a plan paid for everything and left. While waiting at the bus stop I went on Craigslist looking for a cheap car. I just needed something to take me from point A to point B. I saw a 2003 black Nissan versa for only three thousand dollars. I called the number listed and a deep male voice answered "hello my name is destiny and I saw your add on craigslist I'm very interested in the versa" I said all in one breath. I waited but nobody replied I looked at my phone to make sure the call was still connected, a couple seconds later then phone turned of and the number immediately texted me " meet me at 1692 east Clinton road in one hour if you're not there the car is not yours" . I reread the text about six times before I texted back "I'm new to the area so I don't know where that is" I sat down at the bus stop and waited for the person to text me back, I jumped when I felt my phone buzz " where you at I'll come get you" after I send the address of the salon to the stranger I made my way back to the salon to wait for him. Almost an hour later, the salon door dinged indicating somebody was entering but the crazy part was the expression on everybody's face. When i turned around to see what all the fuss was about my heart dropped to my stomach and I couldn't breath. Mikey?
