Everyone sat in a circle around the table as Jungkook began to unwrap his presents. He was very amazed that Saeron decided to make a clay mound of him that probably took forever. But when he opened your gift, he went wide-eyed and started to smile like a fool.
'Everything ok, Kookie?' , Jimin asked. He looked over the box that blocked his view before toppling over. Holy shit! was all he managed to say while staring at it, everyone seemed surprised. Well, except for Taehyung, he knew what it was so he was chill. Even Yoongi, the normally chill person of the group, seemed shook af. Jungkook looked around and asked, ' Who bought this?......'
You looked at him and said in a small voice, ' I-it was me..' Jungkook got up and walked towards your direction. As he approached you, he held out his arms and smiled. Jin,who was sitting beside you, nudged you gently. You got up and awkwardly hugged Jungkook. Suddenly, you felt his breath hitching and you looked at him in surprise.
He was crying...
Everyone got up and began to pat his back and some of them even went ' aww...' Saeron started to giggle, ' I have never seen him cry during his birthday before..That gift must have meant a whole load to him!' Tae looked at her and nodded to indicate she was right.
Jungkook got a hold of himself before saying, ' I- I have n-never gotten a present t-hat meant so m-m-much...How did you know I wanted these..' You simply smiled and wiped away his tears , ' I just passed by these boots that were on display and decided to get them for you..' Jungkook managed a tears smile before hugging you tightly.
Namjoon turned of the lights as Hoseok lit the candles on the cake and bringing in front of Jungkook's face. They started to sing Happy Birthday and you joined inwhile comforting Kookie. He looks so cute when he's blushing and smiling at the same time.. you thought absently as he blew out the candles.
It was a while later that when Jimin fell asleep on Yoongi's lap that they decided it was time to go home. You said goodbye to Jungkook and smiled to Saeron after giving her a hug.
It was nice meeting another new friend.....
