Ava's POVThe annual school trip was coming up. It was to Hollywood in California and I was so excited. My friends Chris and Skye were coming along.
I didn't have many friends due to rumors and a lot of drama in my sophomore year. I was seeing a therapist and not expressing how i truly felt about anyone.
This trip was supposed to help me. Even though I was outgoing I kept my feelings to myself. I could never express them in the way I wanted.
The only person I truly could be myself around was my friends. I didn't have guy friends. I always wanted guy friends but I didn't talk to guys a lot.
Yeah I looked at guys. I've had crushes and boyfriends. Just no guy really tries with me so I don't try back.

"2 days until Howdell High-school annual trip"
A loud voice came over the speakers as I sat in 7th period. The last class. Me and Chris had ear buds in listening to The 1975.Chris always drove us due to me not liking or ever wanting to drive. We waited for Skye to come out of the school. Tomorrow is finally Friday.
I watched people walk out until a certain face caught my eye. Carter. Carter was my ex , he was my first real relationship I had but he was dating my ex best friend, I admit it hurt. I looked away as soon as skye got into the car and Chris started driving back to my house.
_____
We were all watching Netflix movies and eating popcorn. Skye and Chris had plans to leave my house and get ready for a party at 5.
I was never a party person "hey guys I'm gonna go to the bathroom" I grabbed my phone walking to my teal bathroom shutting the door. My hand found the light switch flipping it "I look rough" I said to myself as my hair was messed up. I could hear Chris and skye talking
"She never goes out. I'm getting worried. After her and carter broke up she's a different person""You're right skye. Maybe we should ask her if she's okay."
"Yeah we should" replied skye.
I walked out of the bathroom after doing my business and washing my hands. Everyone thinks I'm not okay.
"Get up girls let's go to this party."
They were both in shock.
So was I.
