Adopted by Zane & Heath

chapter 2

Today was the day that the iconic duo, Zane and Heath, were going to adopt another person into their lives and start a family; since they couldnt do it on their own. "Baby, wake up..weve got stuff to do today" zane gently shook the sleeping heath, quickly pecking his head. " wake uuupppp" he whined slightly.
"Fine, zane. I'm up now, thank you for that" heath said in his raspy morning voice. Zane nodded and laughed. "Anytime...you know what today is right?" He asked,looking at heath. "N-no? Is there something I was supposed to remember?" Heath asked zane, a small smile upon hearths face. "Well yes actually there is" zane said and smiled warmly, resting his head on hearths shoulder. "goddamnit baby! Just tell me!" Heath replied and laughed. "We are going to an orphanage today to adopt a child" zane said and grinned. " oh yeah! I actually forgot it but now I remember" heath replied. Zane chuckled and pecked his cheek before getting up and walking to the closet to find an outfit.
After they were both dressed for the day, heath made them both coffee. "Baby, you ready to go?" Heath asked and smiled. Zane nodded as he sipped his coffee and walked out to the car,getting in. Heath was right behind him, but went to the driver's side and got in.
Once they got to the place and checked in, they started walking around. Heath looked nervous. "Baby what's wrong?" Zane tilted his head and looked at him. "Its just-" he sighed before continuing, "it's just scared that none of them are going to like me -" zane pulled him close and kissed him quickly before hugging him tightly and kissing his head. "Baby, hes gonna love you almost as much as I do..I promise" he spoke softly as he hesitantly go of heath. Heath breathed in before nodded. "I love you so much...I dont knoe what I'd do without you..."he said and kissed zanes cheek.
Once they were inside, they went to the front desk and asked a few questions. They were told that the boys side was the left side of the hall on the top floor. Zane & heath walked there as heath knocked on the door. "H-hello?" He said and waited, resting his head on zane's shoulder. he found comfort in Zane, and that's some of the things that he loved about him.

the door opened, and there stood a short brown haired boy, who was around the age of 14. "n-no way...you both are Zane and Heath correct?" The boy that was standing looked both anxious and excited. "yeah, we are...and we're here to adopt a kid, if you were wondering.." Zane spoke softly. "oh that is cool.." the kid motioned for them to come in if they wanted. They accepted and walked in. "nice room" Zane said and smiled. "thank you..it means a lot" he said,  smiling. "what's your name?" Heath asked. "Nathan..." the boy, now known as Nathan  replied. "So, tell us some things about yourself Nathan" Zane said and smiled, having a good feeling about Nathan. "well, i'm fourteen years old. I am a big fan of you two, and the rest of the Vlog Squad along with Elton Castee, Aaron Doh, Jake Webber, Brennen Taylor, Corey Scherer, Devyn Lundy, and so on" he laughed before continuing, "I like the color black, and i like music anywhere from Marilyn Manson, to My Chemical Romance. I can play piano and guitar. That's it" Nathan said, with a big smile on his face. "Well Nathan, would you be okay with us adopting you?" Heath asked, and Nathan grinned. " I would be more than okay with you two adopting me!" Nathan said, going to the pair and hugging them. "then lets go get those papers filled out, and we will be on our way" Zane said and grinned. It looks like heath did not have anything to be nervous about after all.
