I was sitting on my bed, doing homework that was as boring as my social life. Math? Ugh, I hate math. Anyways, I'm getting off topic. I heard the doorbell ring. Our doorbell is quite loud. "ELIZABETH! MOLLY IS HERE!!" my mother yelled. "COMING!" I shouted back at her, running down the stairs. My mother and I have always had a special bond, especially since my dad was never there for me. I see my friend Molly at the door. She looks really excited and nervous at the same time. If you didn't know, Molly is a childhood friend of mine. I would've never been friends with her if we haven't been with each other for so long. "Bye mom lo-". Molly cuts me off by jerking me out of the door and slamming it. "Dude, what was that for??!" I shouted, rubbing my arm. "I'm sorry!" Molly apologized. "But I have to show you something really cool, c'mon!" Molly grabbed my arm and started running. I didn't ask any questions because she was running so fast. Even if I did she wouldn't have heard me. Do you know that feeling where you're running against the wind so much it feels like the wind is stabbing you? That's what it felt like. Molly was always the fast one in our childhood. We'd have races and I'd insist that I wanted to keep trying because I thought I would beat her. I did once, but I think she let me win because she felt pity. We arrived at the front of the forest, and all I see is trees. "Molly, what are you showing me?" I asked. "All I see is trees!" "It's not the forest, it's what's inside!" Molly brushed aside the branches and leaves so we could enter the forest. I couldn't believe my eyes.
