wrong number//tododeku

two

todoroki sat emotionless in his room. he couldn't believe the mistake he'd made. what if he tells someone? what if people see the video? he shut off his phone and placed it on his dresser deciding to go for a walk alone, he needed it.

as he opened his door iida walked by, they held eye contact for a fraction of a second before iida sprinted away.

"great. i cant even talk to him." todoroki thought to himself before turning to walk towards the exit.

as he walked, he didn't look up once. he was deep in thought, scared, and embarrassed. todoroki couldn't help but think of the trouble he could get into.

when he returned, he decided to talk to iida. immediately as he opened the door, iida walked up to him.

"i was waiting for you to get back. can we talk?" the class rep asked.

"yes." todoroki harshly responded, leading his way towards the others room.

"i didn't watch the video, i figured it was private"

todoroki felt his chest loosen at the news, "thank you." he replied, stopping in front of iida's door, waiting for the other to open it.

"but ochaco started watching it," the other started, turning to see the others reaction.

millions of thoughts ran through todorokis head in seconds. he ran into the boys room and slammed the door.

"did she finish?" he harshly asked.

"no, she said she shouldn't see it." the other replied, slight fear in his voice.

"does anyone else know of my accident?"

"no, unless ochaco-"

"great. this is great. i cant wait to be targeted for this. what if izuku finds out from someone else? what if-" before the boy could finish, iida interrupted.

"i don't think someone would tell him. and please lower your voice..." iida said, lowering his voice as he continued.

"lower my voice? people are gonna know i'm gay in a matter of days! izuku will hate me! do you know what you've started?" the boy snapped at him, small flames forming in his hands.

"listen, i'm sorry. i will try to fix this, i think you should leave." iida awkwardly pointed to the door as he finished, causing todoroki to stare at him in disbelief.

"yeah. maybe i should." the other said in a lower tone than before.

as todoroki left, iida apologized again. but todoroki didn't reply. he felt sick inside. the boy couldn't believe what he got himself into, as he was walking back izuku turned the corner.

"oh! todoroki-kun! what are you do- are you okay?" the freckled boy questioned

"not really, midoriya-kun. we should talk soon, but right now i need some alone time. sorry, and goodbye." the other responded, sadly looking down and walking away.

"o-oh! okay, i hope you feel better!" the other brightly called out to the boys backside, quietly wondering what was the matter.

when todoroki returned to his room, he laid down on his bed, staring at the ceiling. eventually he began crying and blaming himself for different things, mad at himself for having such intense feelings.

after some time, he fell asleep. he missed dinner causing worry in the other students, especially midoriya. but no one questioned it, most knew about his secret already, of course, not midoriya.

the boy slept soundly for hours, he needed it. when he woke, he had many messages, to his surprise.

izuku: hey, are you okay todo?
izuku: i'm worried about you.
izuku: you know, you can talk to me any time. i'm always here for you <3
izuku: i know it's early i've just been thinking about you...
izuku: well, i guess you're asleep. please text me when you wake up todo!
izuku: oh yeah! i have a new nickname for you~ i hope you don't mind! it just sounded cute <3
izuku: anyways, i should probably sleep too! sleep tight shouto~ text me when you wake up!

his heart skipped a beat as he read the messages.

"todo." he whispered to himself, cheeks flushed red.

he clicked to respond, but didn't know what to say. for many minutes he thought before finally sending his message.

izuku: hey, are you okay todo?
izuku: i'm worried about you.
izuku: you know, you can talk to me any time. i'm always here for you <3
izuku: i know it's early i've just been thinking about you...
izuku: well, i guess you're asleep. please text me when you wake up todo!
izuku: oh yeah! i have a new nickname for you~ i hope you don't mind! it just sounded cute <3
izuku: anyways, i should probably sleep too! sleep tight shouto~ text me when you wake up!

todoroki: good morning izuku, i hope you get a decent amount of sleep.
todoroki: thank you for worrying about me... i hope i can talk about it with you soon.
todoroki: and for the pet name, i love it.
todoroki: **nicknme
todoroki: ...anyways, i hope you sleep in some, message me when you wake.
todoroki: sweet dreams deku~

"i said hope too much, i don't wanna come off too desperate..." he whispered to himself.

todoroki put his phone on his nightstand and decided to get dressed, he changed his clothes and grabbed his toiletries. while brushing his teeth, kaminari came out of a stall, as he turned the faucet on he turned to todoroki.

"ayyye~ todoroki i never would have expected you were gay." he said, causing todoroki to spit out his toothpaste.

"how- how do you know?" the flustered boy asked.

"everyone knows, news spreads fast in this class."

"do-does izuku know?"

"izuku? maybe. wait- why are you- do you like him?"

todoroki didn't respond and grabbed his toiletries, leaving and ignoring the boys questions. he ran to his room and closed the door, locking it behind him. he leaned against the door and slowly slid down, as he hit the floor he began to cry again.

the boy was full of so many emotions, he didn't know what to do, so all he did was cry.

bzzz

he stopped crying and looked up.

"izuku." the boy whispered
