Matting Season

Encounter

Matt was having a splendid day but his 'Me time' was always cut short from Edd's pestering.

'Matt did you do your laundry? Matt clean your room! Matt arn't you going to go out? Matt this Matt that. Matt Matt Matt.' Matt thought.

After a day full of Edd's mothering. Matt decided to go for a walk. It was a cool autumn night by now. The wind howled and the stars glimmered.

Matt was glad he had a green overcoat. It helped on cold days like these.

Matt went in the mirror store and that's when he saw him.

Beautiful orange hair with a perfect chin. He was beautiful.

The man turned to Matt and blushed. He had those same exact thoughts.

"Hello." The man said.

Matt blinked, "H-Hi."

"So uhm come here often?" The man asked.

"I do actually because I... really like mirrors." Matt smiled.

"Ah me too I'm surprised we haven't bumped into eachother sooner." The man replied.

"Yeah... say what's your name?" Matt asked.

"Mat." Mat answered.

"Mine is Matt as well!" Matt said smiling.

Mat smiled and held out his hand. Matt shook it.

"Want to come back to my place? I mean you seem busy, but I just can't let someone this handsome get away." Matt said blushing.

Mat blushed, "Well if you put it like that then I can't refuse."

Matt smiled and locked arms with Mat. "Let's get going!"

Matt and Mat both happily walked to Matt's house.
