Harry Potter and the Addams Family

Chapter 1

Harry was on the train after fourth year on the way to the Durslys, he was excited to see their reaction to how he changed. He had never been how the wizarding world thought, he was not the golden boy in any way or form. He had been quite an odd child, always staying by himself, talking to snakes, when he had his first bout of accidental magic he murdered a bird that was in his aunts garden. Then when the Durslys tried to beat the "freakishness" out of him he lashed out with his magic breaking Vernon's arm, they mostly played by his rules after that.  Even after that they still made him sleep in the cupboard under the stairs, and never bought him proper clothes, or fed him right. When he found out he was a wizard he threated them to get what he wanted, until they found out he couldn't do magic outside of school like that had stopped him before .  After he told them about Sirius they where absolutely terrified.

During fourth year when Ron and Hermione decided he was lying about the putting his name in the Goblet of fire and stopped hanging around him, he started reading books in the restricted section over the dark Magic's. He also went back to his old habit of drinking poison, it doesn't kill him because he is a parseltongue, not that he knew that when he was younger, he really started doing it because it frightened the  Durslys. When he went  to the Chamber of Secrets to  see if the Basilisk was still down there so he could get the skin for the first task. He found a book in the restricted section of the library that said that basilisk skin is nearly indestructible and fire proof so he decide to go to the chamber to get it, since the first task had to do with dragons.  When he got down there the Basilisk was still in perfect condition, and looked like it had just died and not been dead for almost two whole years. He got enough skin to make armor to go under his clothes. As an after thought he conjured some wine bottles and filled them up with the venom so he could mix with the arsenic he was already drinking so he could build up a slight intolerance to it because Basilisk venom would hurt him if he didn't take small amount at first, he learned that the hard way when the basilisk bit him in second year.  He had also been working on his wand less magic which he had not used much since getting his wand. He was working with a knife as well as that had been his favorite thing to play with before he went to Hogwarts and had to stop while at school.

He had found a ritual to fix his eyesight, though most at Hogwarts would call it dark it worked, now he only wore them for appearances. He then found a potion to fix  his malnutrition, and get him to the height of a regular fourteen year old boy. He decided to not mess with his hair because he liked it messy.

His so called friends never even noticed this changes even after they started to hang out again, even though he hid his more odd tendencies, he did not need Dumbledore getting the impression he was a dark wizard even if he was.

When the train pulled up to the station he said goodbye to Ron and Hermione, and went to his Waiting uncle and aunt. When he got to them they said nothing just turned around and started to walk away. Once in the car Harry reached into his pocket and drew out his poison and drank some making sure Vernon could see him.

"YOU WILL STOP THIS FEAKISHNESS AT ONCE BOY!" Vernon yelled, his face turning an alarming shade of purple.

Harry just smirked and took another swig. When Vernon tried to reach back and take the bottle from Harry he froze his arm.

"I wouldn't do that if I where you Uncle. I may not be able to do magic outside of school with my wand, but there is no trace if I don't use my wand." Harry said smirking.

When they got home Vernon told Harry not to get too comfortable because he wouldn't be staying for long. Harry wondered where he was going and how funny Dumbles reaction would be when he found out he was gone. As he sat on his bed contemplating these things Vernon was calling a business partner his company had made during the school year because the man had said he would be interested in meeting Harry when he was somehow brought up in the conversation, which had admittedly never happened before, and the man found out how odd he was.

The next day Harry was on a plane to America to meet a family that according to the Durslys was just a freakish as him.  He was quite excited to meet them, but he also wanted to see America and what it was like flying in a plane. The plane ride was pretty boring, he had sent Hedwig to the borrow for the summer since the Durslys had no idea where in America he was going and he would not make her ride in the luggage part of the plane. When they landed he looked around for the tall man he was told to look for, he spotted him with a sign that said Harry Potter, and he was hoping no one here knew who he was. When he went to the man and introduce himself all he got in return was a grunt and a motion to follow the man. He decided if this was how they all where it would be fantastic. They took a short drive to a street that looked just as boring, if not more than private drive, a bunch of identical two story white houses, mowed lawns, flowers, he found it disgusting. When they finally got to the last house it was beautiful in his opinion clouds, old rusted gate, bare trees no grass, grave yard, and a three story house that looked like it would fall down at any moment.  The gate swung open by itself and when they walked in there was the family he supposed he was supposed to be meeting all dressed in black, they looked like his kind of people.

" Hello, I am Harry Potter." He said sticking  his had out to a man in a three piece suit, a cigar in his mouth, and a pencil mustache.

"Hello Harry, I am Gomez Addams." The man, Gomez said with an insane smile.
