Chapter 2:

*Nash*

Standing right infront of me was a blond haired, blue eyed, tanned girl I haven't seen in almost four years. She wore a white tank top with a black heart on it, black lace shorts, and white sandals. She looked up and smiled a smile towards me. "Cameron, haven't seen you in a while" she laughs. "been to long" Cam laughs along. "come on boys, eat" Mrs. Johnson pushes.

*Aiden*

Oh god. Oh god. "So Aiden, when is your song coming out?" Matt asks. "Um. I'm just going to drop it. I don't need the fame" I say. "True, look at the babe you just scored" Taylor laughs. "Actually-" Baylee cuts me off. "they broke up" She says quickly. "thanks" I smile. "well, singles summer" Matt says grabbing my hand. "if you still wanna sing, come with me and record part of my song" Shawn smiles. "I think I might do it" I reply. "Really?" He asks. "sure" I say. "Wanna play?" Nora- Mae asks. "yes" Hayes screams for all of us. Hayes runs inside and grabs the guitar off the couch. "Get the box drum" Shawn laughs. "stupid" he tumbler causing us to laugh.

We stopped after that. Everyone smiled and started cheering. "Thanks" I smile. "Babe amazing",Cameron says. "Thanks" I smile. I stand up and make my way inside the house. "Aiden" someone says closing the back door. "Aiden please" they whisper. "I'm sorry" I whisper cutting to the stairs. I ran upstairs and sat on my bed. I slammed my door and closed my eyes.

*Nash*

"Aiden" I whisper after she's up the stairs. I hear her door slam and I look outside. Everyone looks at me and Mrs Johnson waves me on. "Go" she mouths. I closed my eyes and walked up to her room. I sit on the edge of her bed and grab her hand. "Nash" she whispers. I look over at her and smile. "I never thought I'd hear you say my name" I laugh laying beside her. "Three years nash. I've ignored everyone for three years and now they're all here with me. Why?" She asks.

"You're family. You're everyone's best friend. Hell, you've been an influence on everyone aiden. You've made everyone see the good in bad situations, you've thought us to be strong even in our weakest moments, how to tell the truth" I whisper. I kiss her head and let her cry.

~Next Morning ~

*Nash*
I roll over and see aiden laying beside me. I kiss her shoulder and climb out of her bed. I've missed you so much. I miss the long sleepless nights together. I open her door and creep back to my house.

*Aiden*
I slipped on a pair of jeans and a T-shirt with my black combat boots and straightened my hair. I grabbed my phone and car keys then made my way into Nora-Mae and Miranda's room. "Get dressed losers were going out" I smile. "Sir yes sir" Miranda laughs. She walks to the closet and looks at me. I nod and she pulls out a pair of jeans and a star wars shirt. She pulls up her hair and throws in her converse. Nora-mae grabs some shirts and a sweatshirt with her converse and throws up her hair. "You wanna follow me?" I ask Nora-Mae. "Yeah" she says grabbing her keys to her Honda accord.

We made our way next door to grab the boys. I text nash when I got up and told hit to get Hayes ready. Nash and Hayes came out followed by skylynn. "Mom was called in" Nash explains.

'She's talking to angels just counting the stars" skylynn and I sing. It was me nash and skylynn in one car. Nora-mae Miranda and Hayes in the other. "Very nice!" I laugh. Skylynn giggles and watches as i turn into the driveway. "Are you sure you wanna be here?" Skylynn asks. "I havent been here in four years" I look down into my lap and nash reaches over to me. Skylynn opens her door and jumps out, I open my door and grab her hand. We walk over to grandpas grave and I look at him. Nora-Mae grabs my hand and Miranda is holding her hand on the other side of Nora-Mae. Nash, Skylynn and hayes are  on the other side of me holding my hand. "Hey" I whisper. "I know Im an ass since i havent came to see you since you were put in the retirement home. But im here now" I say crying. "I love you so much gramps and i miss you. I know you've seen the way ive been for the last few years,the way i push everyone away and the way ove acted." I look up at nash since he squeezed my hand.

"But im here to tell you im changing. I dont wanna be the girl i was after you were gone. I wanna be the way i was when you were still here" I whisper.
