Hidden feeling that she held in!!!

If only I had a voice!!

     Today is jus a normal day. Just like all of the other days that I have live in my mom house. I have woke up to her passed out do to the drugs that she just done!! Plus the bottle of moonshine that she drank last night.
    I woke up my bubba so we can get something eat an ready for school. We  only had a very small thing hidden in a box to where mom didn't know we had asked our mamaw for food. We eat it then got ready for pawpaw to pick us up for school.
     Kids! Did y'all eat this morning? Yes sir. What did y'all eat this moring? Only the last of what you an mamaw gave us in the box to hid from mom. How much was left? A few crackers, and a banana.  That's not much to eat! NO sir but we..... NO but's! We will stop on the way an get you an bubba something to eat. Do you two understand me! Yes sir! Good. Now do you two have your home work and is it finished? Yes sir. Let me see that it is! Bubba an I pulled our home work out to show papaw. Very good. What are you doing here? Mom yelled. I'm here to take the kids to school like I always do every morning! NO you not they are staying home, school is for dumb people. Excuse you! Pawpaw asked mom. You heard me! I'm not speaking anything but English. You are an American, right? Do not give me that attude when I'm here to help you with the kids while all you want to do is be a damn junkie! Shotting, drinking, parting with people that you don't know. Well guess what I'll make sure you won't see you kids. I'm sick of you doing this to them. They need a better mother an you! Oh, so your saying that you an mamaw can take care of them? You damn right! Fine go on and take them. I don't care. I rather be a junkie then have them around. Mom one day your going to regret that!
  We walked to the car not looking back. Not even a tear falling as well. It was like me an bubba was happy that we got to go live with our great grandparents.
   How about we go home and y'all not go to school? Instead we go and relax at the house. I know that was a bite of a hot mess back there. Are y'all up for that? Only if we get mamaw's gravy an biscuits that we love so much. I'm sure she wouldn't mind kids. It's a deal! Pawpaw took us to the house. Y'all go to the Living Room an found you something to watch, while I get Martin to fix you something eat. You mean mamaw? Yes kids.
  After about fourty-five minutes mamaw and pawpaw said "kids come to the table"! Coming. Mamaw sat our hot yummy plates of gravy an biscuits in front of me an bubba. We was eating and mamaw said welcome home babies. We both smiled so big an put our forks down to get up to give them a hug. Now finish your breakfast before it gets cold! Mamaw said. If you want, there is more. Just let us know we will get it for you. You understand? Yes ma'am! Now. Now. Nun of that. We are not in public.  I only want you all to use that when we are out in town. If we are home, I want you to feel relax. Oh okay. See like that. We smiled. Mamaw can I please have a little more? Chris do you want anymore. Ummm..... It's okay! Your safe here. Remember you not at mom's. I know. It's just hard do to that is where we have mostly been at. We hardly get to come here. Baby you not just coming here today! You coming here to live here!
