Chapter 1

Narrator's POV

"Congratulations, Min Seolhae. You have passed the standards of this university." Miss Kwangsook, the head officer of the university, said.

Those words made Seolhae frozen. She always remembered the harsh words her father told her;

Flashback
April 24, 2015

" What the hell is this Seolhae? A f̤̈ṳ̈c̤̈k̤̈ï̤n̤̈g̤̈ B?!
You're such a disgrace to this family! I'm one of the richest lawyers in our country,  and you and your grades will destroy my reputation! "

Seolhae's dad said full of anger, preparing scissors to cut the paper filled with darkened red ink due to the mistakes.

His reputation is much more important than his own daughter; Seolhae thought.

" It's just a B+, dad. It's almost an A..." The poor girl replied with her eyes welling with tears. She knew her father very well; A B+ will cause much trouble.

His father wanted everything A or A+, he always wanted everything perfect. And this situation for her is a full nightmare. She knew what the consequence will be; sending her off to Seoul.

Her family lives in Daegu, and she didn't want to leave; she didn't want to leave her mom and younger brother. And the day she never wished has to come, came.

" Pack your things, Seolhae. I'll send you to Seoul", with that her dad left.

End of Flashback

Finally, after months and months of studying for the assessment examination, she proved to her dad that she isn't a disgrace to their family. Her work did pay of.

" T-thank you, Miss Kwangsook.", then the lady left.
Still she felt like everything is just a dream.

But it wasn't one.

Seolhae made a stop in a cozy brown-colored cafe by the street. She needed some time to celebrate, even if it's on her own.

Seolhae's POV

"One cappuccino please, also a slice of blueberry cheesecake.", I ordered.

As I got my order, I saw a very familiar figure to me. Who could it be, I taught.
