Chapter 109/16/18
Now its 1/04/19
As a child I was always fascinated with the unknown.
The things science can't even begin to imagine, i'd love to be a scientist or something that would make me matter, but to be honest I'm just not smart enough.
I'm not a idiot I just know that a 19 year old girl can't exactly do something important like that.I can't just jump into a shuttle and blast into space. I can't
just sit and watch a full documentary on science. I cant stay still enough. I cant focus. I need something to focus on."Ugh." I let my annoyance escape my lips as I leaned my back on the brown boring living room couch. The tv playing as the background music to all of my wondering thoughts. The thoughts flew around in my mind. I was unable to capture one.
I live in a little town in Colorado, we don't get many people around here just the usual people. Usually my sister would visit me, Maddie, she's 17 and becoming a grad student, but she's been so busy we kind of stoped hanging out.
Now that I think bout it, I'm not 100 percent sure what she even studies... In my defence my family isn't exactly 'close'. The only other important person in my life is my well, crush.
His name is Dane and we usually hang out often as possible. Honestly I'm surprised he's not tired of me yet.
I have a feeling he likes me but I'm not for sure.
We have plans to hang out today if that counts, I guess it kind of does. Right?Shh... Let's just say it counts okay?
Just as the thought crossed my mind my dainty phones' screen lit up drawing my attention. As my eyes shifted to it.
"Dane: I'm on my way. See you in a muinute."
My heart began to beat faster as I stood up quickly I straightened my little black dress with a pair of brown tall boots and readjusted my long brown hair over my shoulders.
I couldn't help but wonder if it was to fancy for just a restaurant.

I sat in the cafè scrolling through my lit up phone through dumb posts of my friends. Well, people I know. Hopefully nobody noticed I wasn't busy. Just then a person sat in front of my booth. My eyes darted up as I gave a small smile. "Hey." I said a bit under my breathe.
"Hey Emma." He began to pick up a flimsy menu. It was Dane. He's been my crush since I was like 15. Damn, it's been 4 years... damn.
"Are you okay?" His words pulling me out of my trance. My eyes glanced up to him and back at the wooden table. I wondered what he was going to order. Probably something healthy. Ugh 'healthy'. What's the point in eating healthy if we all die anyways?
Just to fit in? Or to actually be healthy
"Emma?" His voice coded in concern. I give him a small smile with a nod. "Yea, yea I'm good." I said in a light tone.
I take a quiet deep breathe in as I lift the menu off of the dark wooden table. I flipped through desperate to find something healthy so I wouldn't look bad in front of Dane.
