"Fair doesn't work on killing. When you kill, there'll always be debt you're gonna hold."

"Go on, aim the gun on me and shoot already." She trembles, holding grudge without knowing why. "Don't you be afraid."

"SHUT UP!" She barks.

"Fair doesn't work on killing. When you kill, there'll always be debt you're gonna hold." I smirked. I don't care how and where she'd shoot me. I just wanna be that face she's haunted by for the rest of her life.

And, Bang!!!

She shot me.

***

I see her right in front of me. I see her. I am the witness of what she's done. A dead body lies on the floor, covered with blood, staining all over. It's not what worse than who lies on the floor, it's not what worse than who has done it.

"Dad...?" I was intending to get closer until the gun shoots whatever is in its way.

"He doesn't deserve whosever mourn. Not even you." She keeps staring at how the blood seeps.

Speechless, my dad is killed by my best friend.

***

We've arrived at her home. Both of us sit on the sofa talking about her assignment. In the middle of the conversation, her dad just comes home, he looks at us and smiles. I smile back. He left to the kitchen.

"Are you sure you can manage it well?" I asked, she unsurely nods her head. I grin. "Just let me help you with this, once."

"Okay then, wait for me." She's gone upstairs, leaving me and her dad alone. I grab on my gun. Now is my chance. I walk to the kitchen.

"Mr," BANG!! Headshot.

***

"Brewing cold coffee, alone again?" Someone suddenly asked me from behind, I turned my head to see. A brunette girl with a tender smile. "Hanada James."

"Cathline Gorge," I answered her. We started with a small conversation. I don't know how far we've made it through, we're just clicked from the beginning.

That's how we met.

***

Long after that, I can handle my self to fit in now. Still being the same me, except how I have no one to live with now.

"Hanada James."

I stand up as the teacher says my name, she wants me to bargain for quotes. "Fair doesn't work on killing. When you kill, there'll always be debt you're gonna hold. Richard Gorge."

"How many times I should tell you not to use the same quote and name all over again, Ms. James."

As If.

***

Grudge ain't something you can ease. You're gonna lose control of who you are. Then you'll be insane. In that state, you won't regret what you do 'till it's done.

BANG!!

I shot both of them at once without knowing what had happened.

"Mommy... Daddy..." A girl on her young teenager. Crying. I tremble but I can do nothing. I tried to fix everything I've done. I didn't think of their child when I shot them. Precisely like how they'd thought.

"I'm sorry." I burst into tears with no guilt. Crying of fear for not knowing where to escape. She knows me now, it's too late. At last, I decided to step closer, kneel, wiping her tears.

"Fair doesn't work on killing. When you kill, there'll always be debt you're gonna hold."
