Thelma's POV
lily....lily am gonna catch you".I called out to my little Sister .I can obviously hear her giggling behind me but I act like I don't know where she is.
"Come on sweety, come and have your bath"
"Ouch"....lily why did you do that???.I asked scratching my back where she poured sand with ant in it.
"Sorry".she said "you're so boring you know" she added rolling her eyes at me.
"Oh am no fun right? "how about this ?...I pushed her into the lake. I knew she was going to come out to hurt me back because she was a better swimmer between the both of us.
"Help el.....help....please...breath..".I laughed at her cause I knew she was trying to pull a trick on me to fall into the lake also.
"Lily doesn't work on me" "duh when you're done come upstairs and bath".I said walking away.
It's been 30mins now and lily was not back from the lake.I pulled off my sweater about to remove my cloth when I heard screaming from outside. I ran down quickly and saw my mum and dad beside the lake with lily on my mum's lap unconscious.
"Lily...mum what's wrong??. I said in between tears.My mum just continued crying.
"el.....I begged you to save me but you didn't.."Lily said in between tears gasping for air.
"Lily am so sorry... I didn't mean to. I thought .....
"I love you el....puleese take care".Lily said and started blinking profusely still gasping for air before she shut her eyes permanently
"No lily.....Nooooooooo".I felt like dying seeing my only sibling dead. The world was spinning around me,my vision became blur by the second the next I saw was darkness.
