A Story Foretold

Chapter Three

It was midnight when Odette and Martha promised to meet at night, where the two would run away from the harsh castle where the princesses father were. The two young women went to add a new chapter to Odette's story and her life's beginning. They both took the horse they chose from and walked them to the Castle gates then the village gates, when they reach it they hosted themselves onto the horse and rode into the forest's path. When they left they were leaving their home and vowed to never to return even if it meant death to them, while they raced toward the moonlight they never glanced back. Odette and Martha never felt so free in their lives since Odette's mother was nowhere to be found.

Morning came and they were still galloping through the forest never once slowing down on the path to their new chapter set ahead of them wondering what will happen next.

"Odette when do you think the King will notice that we are missing from the castle and the village" Marth asked.

"He would send guards down to kill us or hang us by our necks" answered Odette while laughing on her horse.

"Oh okay, wait whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat" Martha said when Odette told her that.

"Hahahahahahahahaha I'm just joking about that don't worry about that he would only send guards after me instead of you, because he wants me to marry the prince of the ruby kingdom" Odette told Martha.

"Oh, now I understand, he's going to send guards to kill you instead of us both" Martha said.

"Yes, that's correct, wait that's not it you've gotten it wrong and if you're joking around then it's not funny so stop it before I kill you" Odette said while barking at her.

"Okay now I see what you are telling me" answered Martha.

"Good, let's keep moving till it's night fall, okay" Odette asked.

"Okay" answered Martha

The two went on their way and found another village to rest for the night when they settled in they found out it was the Ruby Kingdom, but decided to not leave. Odette and Martha went to find some place to eat when Odette accidently bumped into someone.

"Sorry" said a princely voice.

"It's okay, I wasn't watching were I was going" when she was saying that she looked up and saw whom she was talking to.

She was talking to the 1st prince of the Ruby Kingdom. When she was finished saying what she needed to say she and Martha left, leaving the prince clueless of who she was and where she came from, in his heart he started to fall in love with Odette. After she was out of sight he went back to his kingdom.

When he returned he asked his advisor to come with him and the maids to get everything he needed for a trip to follow the mysterious girl and ask her to marry him when he was going to take his father's throne. When he was done he and the advisor went on their horses towards the direction of the two young women he met at the village. Not knowing she was the 1st Princess of the Emerald Kingdom. There they all were on to their next chapter of their story, they still don't know what the future holds for them.
