Velvet actually came to my aid a lot this week.

Coco wanted to make me do the most ridiculous things, but Velvet managed to stop her most of the time which I was thankful for.

I pretty much acted as a personal butler for Velvet.

It was honestly humiliating but I kept on going.

I had to get stronger and Beacon was the best way to do that...

And as much as I hate to admit it, this was the only option.

"Y/N~" Coco whined and I internally screamed.

"Yes?" I shouted back as I was stood in the kitchen.

I'd also been told to move into the CFVY dorm too...

Which meant sleeping on the floor...

"Can you do me a drink, please?" The please was laced with sarcasm and it got me mad.

"A-and me too!" Velvet added in.

She almost seemed to be more nervous around me after I'd moved in.

I thought it'd make life easier but it sure as hell hasn't.

I silently did as they asked, grabbing them both a drink from the fridge and taking it too them.

I found them sat in front of a tv playing a game.

"What are you playing?" I asked as I sat the drinks down on the table.

"Mario Kart." Velvet said excited.

As far as I could tell she was in front at the moment and it was the last lap.

And...

"Sorry Velvet." Coco said as sent a shell flying.

The scoreboard came down and Coco was at the top with Velvet in Second.

"Ahhh!" Velvet whined putting her head into her knees.

"You're both good at this." I saw that they were both far ahead of the AI.

"Velvet is good at everything." Coco admitted as I took a seat on a chair next to them.

"W-want to try?" Velvet held out her controller to me very hesitantly.

She meant it as a thank you for getting her a drink.

She always did that.

Whenever I did something for her she'd always try to return the favour somehow.

"No, I suck at video games." I said standing up, I was going to head to the canteen to get some lunch.

Even though it's Saturday they still serve food.

"Ooh, are you a chicken." Coco said making me pause.

"Are you trying to make me angry?" I said before trying to walk out.

"So he is Velvet, Y/N is scared to lose to me at a video game." Coco made a snide remark and it got the response she wanted.

I spun on my heels and took the controller off of Velvet.

"Fine you're on." She smirked at me and I felt a shiver go down my spine.

"How about we make a bet?" She said and I started to sweat slightly. "Winner gets one request off of the other, no matter what they must comply."

"Fine." I said lightly before sitting down.

I was going to win!

~~~~~~
So I lost... badly.
"Ugh." I held my head I shame as Coco laughed maniacally.
Velvet sat in the corner laughing at the whole ordeal.
"I'm going for some Lunch." I rubbed my forehead and headed outside the room.
I'm glad they've got used to me being around.
Because it would've got awkward fast otherwise.
...
If feels like I have a team again.
...
No, they can't be replaced with my nemesis and a Faunas.
I reached the canteen and grabbed my food quickly before sitting in my usual spot in the corner.
This used to be the liveliest corner in the room.
Me and my ex girlfriends team.
I need to stop thinking like this.
I shook my head before digging in to my lunch, I wanted to get a workout in later so I'd have to hurry up with food.
~~~~~~

I walked towards the Gym and found something happening that I hadn't seen in a while.

"A stupid Faunas." Cardin stood over a cowering girl.

Velvet.

I let out a whistle and got everyone's attention.

"Cardin, leave." I said in a commanding voice that I hadn't used in a while.

"What the Hell!" He said before he saw the look in my eye.

Murder.

"Tsk." He clicked his tongue as he walked away and I walked over to the Faunas girl.

"Are you okay?" I said as I held out my hand to help her up.

She didn't reply instead just staring at me for a moment.

"If you don't want my help I ca-" I started but was cut off by Velvet grabbing my hand and jumping to her feet.

"Thank you!" She said quickly bowing her head as low as possible.

"Okay, calm down." I said noticing the growing attention of the people nearby. "I'm going to the gym if you wanted to join?"

"Uh... Coco wanted you for something..." She said quietly.

Ah that's why she's alone right now.

"Tell her to meet me there." I shrugged not waiting for her reply.

I had been at their becken call for the past week, it's about time that I did something for myself.

A good workout would make me feel better, release some stress.

~~~~~~
Shorter chapter, sorry.
I've been so preoccupied this past month I've barely had any chance to write at all.
I should be back to a somewhat regular uploads in a few weeks.
Oblivion, fading out.
