A Painters Muse

    Today I walk down the hall of my school looking for my friend Inaba so we could go to his place for our school project on each other's life's and such. I wasn't listening all too much to be honest.

    You see your family is rather rich and are always dealing with Yokai so your alone most of the time so you've done much research into the supernatural around you.

   But anyways you stand in front of Chiaki's classroom as he walks out. He was a handsome man but I liked someone else already and to be honest I heard he lived at Inaba's apartments. If I'm lucky I'll be able to meet him.

   Inaba smiles and runs up to me saying," Ready to go?"

    I nod and we walk to the bus stop and walk to the Yokai Apartments together. I smile soft at our conversation on what we plan to do with our lives. Inaba tells me he wants to be a government worker but he still isn't all to sure because anything can change.

    I smile and nod as I say," For me I want to be a researcher on the paranormal, such as Ghost, Yokai and other things."

    He freezes but then smiles at me. Once at the apartments he explains why I'm there and such. I smile as I watch the Yokai and such until the door slams open and Inaba runs over saying," Akira-san and Cigar come meet one of my friends from school she's a really cool person. she'll be staying with us for a couple weeks due to a school project."

   Everyone paused as they heard this and I cock my head in wonder. Just then the door slams open and the man I have a huge crush on walks in.

    Akira Fukase, a forty-eight year old man, flaming red hair and  golden brown eyes. Next to him stands a dog with beautiful blue eyes named Cigar. At least this much I know from my research and what Mother has told me when she buys paintings for me to put in my room. She knows about my crush on said man. 

    Akira pauses and says," So you brought another Yokai around,huh?"

    Inaba then says," (Y/N) is a human not a Yokai!!"

     A soft giggle leaves my mouth and I say," Your both right Inaba and Akira-san."

    Both freeze and stare at me as I say," My mother is Kitsune and Human. My father is a Ryu. I live on the Ryu family estate but I won't have Inaba go there with me because the miasma would kill him in a heart beat."

    Akira pauses putting out another cigarette and says," Your that woman's daughter. The one who's been buying a lot of my paintings recently.I believe Dove is her nickname."

    I nod and say," Yeah that's my mother even being half Kitsune she took on a human job to have income so she travels as a human model/Actress and Singer since humans do them all together pretty much. But she says she wants me to keep my humility as a human even if I won't die for times to come."

    Akira smiles and says," You know she also told me something else about you but that's for us to talk about later, just the two of us."

    After dinner Inaba goes to do his training and a bath as I settle on the  engawa with Cigar who's head is on my lap.

    Just then the door opens but not in a slamming open this time. I look up to see Akira behind me but not wet from a bath leaving me to think he hasn't bathed with the other guys. He smiles and sits beside me as he says,"Everyone's in the bath so I thought I'd talk with you now instead of later."

   I nod and swallow thickly as he then says," So your Mother explained you have a crush on me. Also she told me if I wanted to I could court you but that's my choice."
