Hi, my name is Lelani Harper. I grew up in a Saint Paul, MN also known as the most boring state of all time. There's not much to do so, I don't really get out, I go to Central High School. My mom absolutely hates that I go there but I couldn't go anywhere else so that was that.

My mother's name is Jacqueline but most people just call her J. My daddy died when I was 5, he was a firefighter and got caught in the fire, lets just say he didn't make it. My uncle has been there for us every since, He's a father figure now.
I slowly opened my eyes, another day to go to this school. I couldn't wait for it to be over, two more months then summer is here. Can't wait.
" I'M UP MA!!! " I yelled as loud as I could which wasn't loud
" HURRY UP YOUR GONNA BE LATE " She yells as she makes her way back downstairs.
If I didn't get up for another minute she would've been up in here. I walk to the bathroom and do all my hygiene for the day, I decide to just go with an wash n go for today. I walk back into my room and threw on a plain white top with a pair of mustard yellow joggers.

I ran downstairs grabbed my bag and swung it over my head, Grabbed a waffle off of my mom's plate and my keys. When I pulled up to the school, I heard the warning bell ring. Thank the lord I thought as i ran to class.
When Iopened the door, my attention went directly to my best friend, Jojo. She had her hands in a praying position by her cheek, she was smiling with her eyes closed. I bet she was praying that I would make it. I quickly walked to her table and sat down, I could tell she had something to tell me.

Me and Jojo have been best friends since 6th grade, she knows everything about me and I know everything about her. She's basically my other half and I could tell she had something to tell me because she couldn't stay still.
" So wassup?"
" Girl, what you talking 'bout? " Jojo said messing with her fingers.
" Girl, you can't stay still to save your life " I say pointing to her fingers
" Okay, there's this fine ass dude here. He transferred here from Michigan and girl when I say fine I mean FINE. " Jojo makes her eyes wide when she says the last fine
" Okay I get it damn " I say laughing and pushing her. " so where he at?"
" girl ion know I just heard people talking about it " Jojo says shrugging
" What if he ani't fine? "

The door bursts open and dude flies in right before the last bell rings.

He was panting from probably running down the hall, I've never seen him before but he was a something I could stare at forever.
" Girl, why you staring like that? " Jojo whispers
I ignore her. I couldn't get my attention off this handsome stranger.
He finally stands up and i can see what he's wearing now, He is wearing a black shirt with some dark blue jeans . I have to say he looks delicious right now, wait what am I thinking I don't even know this nigga. I guess he caught me staring, he looks at me with a smile and nods. He takes a seat closes to me at the next table. I can't wait for this class to be over.
