"Damnit." I cursed as I run through the halls of the school.

I was running late and it was all because my alarm clock didn't work.

"Ugh! Damnit!" I kept on running and I failed to notice the person in front of me and....

*BAM*

"Watch where you're go...." I stopped mid-way because of the person in front of me.

"I'm sorry. Are you alright?" she said and helped me up.

"Ah, yeah.... I'm fine. I'm fine." I said while scratching my neck.

"By the way, I'm Lucy Heartfilia. It's nice to meet you." she said with a smile adorning her face. She stretched her hand to me and I shook it.

"Sting Eucliffe." I said as I smile.

"Um, can you maybe lead me to the principal's office?" she said while scratching her arm. "I'm kinda lost."

Kinda lost? I stifled my laughter because she really is something. The principal's office is on the other side of the building at the top and she's saying she's lost?!

"Um... Is there something funny?" she asked while looking at me.

I waved my hands in front of me and just lead her to the office.

The walk to the office was quiet and kinda awkward. So, I decided to break the ice.

"You know, you were great back then when you performed here." I said.

"Ah, thanks." she said while blushing.I guess she's not that used being praised.

There was silence again but it wasn't as tense as before. We climbedd the stairs and within minutes, we reached the office.

"We're here." I said while gesturing to the door.

"Ah, can you wait for me? I don't wanna get lost again." she asked while I just nodded my head.

She knocked and entered the office after hearing a response.

I leaned against the wall while waiting for her. To think that I had a normal conversation with the one and only Lucy Heartfilia because I'm running late. I guess I could say I'm lucky today even though my day started bad.

I heard the door open and I stood up properly. She smiled at me and we started to walk to our class.

"Hey, can I see your schedule?" I asked while she obliged. I looked at the paper and was surprised to see that we have the same schedule.

"Look, we have the same schedule." I said.

"Really? I'm so glad that I at least know somebody in my classes." she said and turned to me  "Let's go to our next class."  She turned around and started to walk.

We reached our class and opened the door. Everyone looked at us and the teacher asked why we were late.

After lecturing us for about ten minutes, she let us sit and told us to not do it again.

Lunch came by a breeze and now I'm with my friends in one table. We were chatting and talking for a while.

I kept silent the netire time. Observing students walk around or talk happily with their friends. While doing this, I notice a yellow blob in the crowd. Was that Lucy..?

She stopped in front of us and waved. "Umm... Can I sit here? There's no other empty table left."

"Sure." I replied and told her to sit beside me.

They resumed what they were doing and I decided to start a conversation with her. We talked about many things and laughed about it. It seems as if we've known each other for a long time.

GENERAL POV

While Sting and Lucy chatted, Sting's friends looked at them questioningly.

"Since when did they got close?" Orga asked.

"As far as I can remember, this is the first time I saw them talk." Rufus answered.

They continued to look at them curiously until the bell rang.

"Let's go to our next class."

Students filed out of the cafeteria and into their respective classes.

STING'S POV

Lucy and I went to our next class. Like lunch break, the classes went by like a breeze. Nothing special really happened so the day was normal

I met up with Rogue and we started to walk.

"Since when did you and Lucy became close?" Rogue asked out of the blue.

I shrugged. "Earlier."

"Hmm. I see."

We kept on walking until I heard my name being called.

"Sting!"

I turned around and saw Lucy running towards us. She stopped in front of me and catched her breath.

"Hey Sting. I just wanted to thank you. I had fun." she said and smiled at me. A really warm smile.

"Lucy! Hurry up!"

"Coming!" she shouted and started to walk away. She looked back and, "Thanks again. Bye!" waved at me.

After she was gone, I started to walk again. Rogue was talking about something but I can't understand him ecause my mind is still replaying her smile.

That smile...... I think I won't be able to forget about it.
