Layla anxiously waited for her results, but as she was waiting she heard a noise from the corner of the classroom. She stood up and followed the direction of the noise.

"Harper 62%" the teacher shouted.

The further she walked the more silent the teachers voice became.

"Pig, Pig, Pig" she heard outside the window of the classroom.

She couldn't bear what she heard. She felt fluids forming inside her shattered eyes.

"Layla 86%".

All the dedication she had put into her studies no longer mattered, as the problem coming from the outside was of better interest.

"Layla, Layla! Do you hear me, Layla!"

A tap on the shoulder followed.

"Sorry Ms. Still".

"Do you want your results young lady?"

"Yes, yes please"

"now you may be dismissed".

She couldn't bear but think about the noises outside the window. If only she knew that the one lie she ever told would cause this much chaos, she would've never opened her mouth in the first place.
