A coffee a day

Brown

"Thank you for coming!" I said to the last customer of the day.
It's finally time to close up! The cleaning took up half an hour since there's three of us, so it makes the job easier. I went outside while waiting for my mum and bestFriend to get their stuff, when I bumped into something hard.
        "Ouch!" I shouted while rubbing my forehead. I'm sure I knocked my head onto a wall. The wall suddenly gave a deepmZ chuckle. Well, that's weird. I look up from my glasses and recognise that brown eyes.
       "Forgive me. I didn't see where I was going." This brown eyed guy says.
        All I did was stared at him and I'm pretty sure I look like a complete idiot. All we did was stared at each other for a good 30 seconds until my eyes was covered by a small hand which I recognise from anywhere.
         "We gotta move Shay.We have to prepare for the dinner. Come on!" Said Larissa while pushing me. I turned and gave a small smile to the brown eyed stranger and walk off with mum and Larissa.
Since Raymond is back in town after years of studying abroad, mum thought it would be nice to have this welcome back cum birthday dinner with the family and of course Larissa. When we got home, the three of us got started with the dishes. Mum is making her infamous roast beef. While I'm making my favourite mash potato recipe and Larissa is making some lava cake for dessert.
        " Raymond, will you please help to set the table?" my mum said to my brother who has been sitting at the island and watching us cook.   He set the table slowly and I realised he added an extra plate on the table.
      "Is anybody else joining us for dinner mum?" I asked. "Oh yes! I forgot to mention that Raymond's roommate back in college will be joining us for dinner." Mum said.
      Raymond have never ever mention that he's bringing a Friend or has a close Friend back in college. Well apparently I'm the only one who has NO clue about our mysterious guest. Cause Larissa actually made 6 Lava cake just enough for everyone and here I thought the extra dessert is for me.
        After everything is done, the girls went up and freshen up while the guys excluding our mysterious guest is putting the food and drinks on the dining table. I was walking down the stairs when the doorbell rang.
          "I'll get it!" I shouted to let them know. Since I was already on the way might as well greet our mysterious guest.
        As I opened the door and was surprise to be staring at the same brown eyes from the cafe.
