Amelia Stanley was standing in line at the sandwich shop one Saturday afternoon after yoga class. She just recently moved back to NY to start working with her old high school best friend Scarlett as her other partner for her interior design company. She had no idea that it would be this busy at 1 in the afternoon on a Saturday especially since it's now September and started to get cool out. She was a brunette with bright blue eyes and was standing there with her piled up on top of head and work out clothes.

It was finally her turn in line and she said "Hi I just want BLT with chips and a Diet Coke please." She told the sandwich maker and she said "Ok I can' do that what is the name to put on the order?"
"Amelia Stanley." Amelia said
"Ok we will holler for you when it's ready here's your drink and chips." the worker said
"Thank you." she said
Amelia went over and sat down at a table and messed around on her phone while she waited. The person that was behind her was Sebastian Stan a contractor for Evans and Stan Contracting he placed his order and gave his name but the person he talked to was a different one than Amelia. They called her name and she went over to make sure her sandwich was how she wanted her name was written on the wrapper but the sandwich was wrong.
She was about to get up and say something to them when she heard "I believe this one is yours and that one is mine." she looked up and her blue eyes met another pair of blue eyes and she swallowed hard and said "BLT?"
"Yup..I guess they got our names mixed up." he said with a smile that made her heart stop.
She swallowed hard and said "I guess so..here you can have your sandwich." she wrapped it back up and they switched sandwiches. She said "Thank you.." with a smile.
He couldn't help but think about how beautiful she looked when she smiled and her dimpled showed. He knew that she had to be beautiful just by seeing her back side and he said "you're welcome."
Amelia's phone rang it was Scarlett and she said "Sorry I have to go but thank you again." She grabbed her sandwich and chips and drink and phone. She left the sandwich shop and said "Hey Scarlett."
"Hey you sound out of breathe what's wrong." Scarlett said
"Oh nothing just ran of out of a sandwich shop." She said
"ANyways so Monday morning 8 AM be at the office..I want you to meet the contractors we do a lot of designs for when they put up new buildings or apartments or whatever they may do." Scarlett said
"Ok..I will be there I'm pretty sure that you told me that already but thaks for reminding me." Amelia said as she got to her apartment.
"Millie I'm so glad you moved back here and are taking on a business partner role with me and Lizzie." Scarlett said
"I'm glad to. It feels good to be home." she said as she laid her keys down on the bar top and sat down and saw that his name was on her wrapper and she smiled. She hung up on Scarlett and said "Sebastian Stan you were gorgeous man." as she bit into her BLT.
Later that night Sebastian was at the bar with Anthony and Steve having a few beers and burgers and playing pool at the local pool hall. Sebastian's mind wouldn't let him stop thinking about Amelia that it was affecting his game. Anthony finally said "Man what is with you tonight?'
"I don't know man I met this amazingly beautiful girl earlier and I can't stop thinking about her." he said
"Did you get her number?' Steve said
"No..all I got was her name and that was only because our sandwich orders got mixed up cause her last name is Stanley. She was gorgeous bright blue eyes and dark hair my god she had a smile that brought me to my knees." he said
"Sounds like you got it bad for this girl to bad you didn't get her number." Anthony said
"Shut up man." he said
Meanwhile across Amelia was on the phone with her mom who lives in Jersey with her stepdad. "Man mom I met this guy to day he was a looker and I can't even stop picturing him in my mind especially his smile it made my heart stop." she said to her mom
"Did you get his name and number?' her mom said
She laughed and said "No all I got was his name and that was only because his last name is Stan and the sandwich shop got our orders mixed up."
"Amelia Grace!." her mom said
"I know mom I know I'm an idiot but then Scarlett called and I had to go." she said
"Well I know you are happy to be home in NY maybe you will run into him again."her mom said
"Mom the city is a big place I highly doubt I'm ever going to see him again." she said
"You never know what the future holds sweetheart. Get some rest." her mom said
"Good night mom love you and tell Bill I love him too." she said
She got herself ready for bed and went to sleep. The next day she went for a run at the park and got herself a coffee and during all that time they kept missing each other she was leaving the park just as he was entering the park and she was leaving Starbucks just a few minutes before he walked in. That afternoon that she worked some new designs in her sketch book while she listened to music in her apartment on her couch with a glass of wine after she was done she ordered herself some Mexican food to be delivered to her apartment.
Across town Sebastian was tossing a small ball up in the air laying on his couch trying to figure out a way to find Amelia as he watched some Netflix and drank a beer. Chris called him and said "Hey man I'm not sure if I told you or not but tomorrow we have a meeting with Scarlett not only to discuss new design plans for the apartment building we just finished and she wants us to meet the new designer that she's hired on we have to be there at 8AM."
"Oh yeah I almost forgot about that meeting." Sebastian said
"Hey man you still upset about that girl?' Chris said
"Yeah I'm laying trying to figure out a way to find her." he said
Chris laughed and said "I'm sure if it's meant to be she will pop back up some where."
"I hope so cause her eyes were haunting me in my sleep last night." he said
By 10 pm both Sebastian and Amelia were in bed. They had no idea that fate was about to bring them back together.
