I got a notification from watty that story won't be private anymore, here after 19th September?. So here the story.
I advance Sanskaar is not mad and his role will come later but only short. In my story the engagement of RagLak got broken but after Ragini gave her step mother the right, DP has accepted her. But Laksh had fallen for Swara.
The story starts with Laksh confessing his love to Swara.
"No Laksh, I don't love you! I have never loved you and I can't love you knowing that Ragini loves you!". Swara clearly rejected his love confession.
"Laksh if there is someone, who has truly loved you then it is Ragini. You should consider this as an opinion!". She went to Ragini and hold her hand. "You know since she got to know you will be her future husband she had started to dream of you. It might be a small thing for you but for her it is her destiny she wrote for herself!". Ragini looked at him. He was hurt like she was can two hurt lovers be happy?.
Swara looked at Ragini as if she could read her mind. "Ragini you don't need to marry him! It is all upon you now! You can refuse this wedding or agree to it! But I won't marry Laksh!". This was a clear decision of Swara.
Laksh looked at Ragini. I know this will only cause us pain. I should leave without a word and all the pain will be gone, hopefully someday she will be over it.
Ragini sniffs. "It hurts when your love confesses his love for someone else. But true is I love him and I want to marry him even if it means to live with the acknowledgment that he loves someone else!". I can bear the hurt which will be caused but not the separation from him.
Laksh shook his head. "Ragini I don't think we should marry! I'm sorry but I can't see you in pain, it will only hurt!". He left from there.
SwaRagini were back at Baadi the confession was only between them three.
Laksh reaches MM. He went to his bedroom where AP was waiting for him. "Maa you here at this time, what happened?". AP stood up and went to him. "Laksh you told me that you don't like Ragini, but loves Swara what happened why do you look so upset?". She was holding his cheek.
Laksh places his hand on hers. "Maa it's not like I wanted it. Swara refused to marry me, but Ragini, she...? I can't understand why, but she still wants to marry me yet I refused. I don't wanted to ruin her life!". He sat on his bed and AP comes next to him. "Laksh she loved you, and is ready to live with your love for someone else. Sometimes it is better to marry the one who loves you more than anyone. And Ragini is the one!".
Laksh understood her meaning but he doesn't wanted to spoil her life. "What if I'm not able to keep her happy?". He looked at AP.
AP smiles. "Laksh you care and respect her, right?". Laksh nods. "Haan Ragini is my friend!". AP smiles. "That is enough, keep respecting her, you would never hurt a friend at least not purposely!". Laksh nods. For the happiness of his mother he agrees to the wedding.
Laksh went to meet Ragini personally. Ragini was waiting at the bench where they met once. "Ragini?". Ragini turns toward him. "Laksh?". She smiles at him and he sat on the bench next to her. "How are you?". Both asked to each other and smiles. "Fine!". The reply come simultaneously.
Ragini looked down. "Why you called me?". Laksh took a deep breath. "Ragini I... I'm ready to marry you, but I'm not sure if I can love you! But what I can is to promise you. I will be there to protect you, save you and respect you!". Ragini smiles. "That is enough, you know love develops if it is possible then it will happen here too!".
Laksh wasn't sure about it but he just nods to her. He was happy he could talk to her still scared for doing a mistake. Ragini was happy he has given her a chance. And she will gain the love of him.
Soon the day arrived and all preparations were taken.

He was looking lifelessly toward her... as if she isn't present.
Ragini bid bye to everyone and left to MM. Ragini was bought to their bedroom. Laksh wasn't ready to meet her but Adarsh was trying to talk to him.
"Laksh I know you are hurt because you didn't got your love, but Ragini is your friend and you love her another way. Don't hurt her further by ignoring her!". Adarsh places his hand on his shoulder and Laksh nods. "Yeah you are right!".
Laksh went up to his bedroom where Pari and Uttara were waiting for him. They smirks and pushed him in and locked the door from outside. "You can't runaway!". They shout and left from there.
Laksh sat on the bed next to her. It was an awkward silent between them. He looked at her but her gaze was lowered. He switched off the light of his bedside cupboard but Ragini didn't moved. He then leaned to her side and switched off the light... her gaze was fixed on him...
