~ Definition of the Element Earth: The Element of Earth - Chi in Japanese - represents the solid, hard objects in the world with the most basic being stone. They are highly resistant to movement and change just as anything that is influenced by Chi is.
Chi also represents the body parts, bones, muscels and tissues. Emotionally, Chi also represents stubberness, stability, physicality and gravity; the desire to have things remain as they are and the resistance to change. ~
