The pair stopped at the entrance to the mansion. "Thank you" Regina said looking deeply into Emma's eyes. "For what dear?" Emma smiled. "For stopping me from making the biggest mistake of my life." Emma leaned in and kissed Regina softly. "Anything for you." "Would you like to come inside Miss Swan?" Regina gestured towards the door. "I would be delighted Madame Mayor." They went inside and sat down on the couch together. Regina laid her head on Emma's lap. "I love you Emma Swan" was the last thing she said before drifting off to sleep. "I love you too." Emma whispered and kissed her head.
