Chapter XII: In Action

A/N: Goddamn, things haven't been easy lately. Anyways, here's the next chapter of Ace's Final Adventure.

Y/N, Lilith and Aurora stood by the docks, since he suggested going in small groups to the docks in order to not draw attention in a large gang. Dusk had come and the sun was setting on the ocean, Y/N's eyes grazed over the setting sun as his cigar let out a puff of smoke.

Lilith: The sun's beautiful isn't it?

The lilac-haired girl asked. Y/N looks over to her, nodding.

Y/N: Yes, yes it is.

He said acknowledging Lilith with a small smile. The glow of day finally disappears over the horizon as Y/N lets his hoodie down and stomps out his smoke.

Y/N: Let's go ladies.

He motioned. Looking around to check out for a late night passerby or security cameras. He surely saw at least ten, his hoodie blocked his face from them, as Lilith and Aurora placed on masks. Ace took out a silenced pistol, but Aurora stops him. She sights the dock master's facility a few meters away, and quickly makes her way to it, a loud smack is heard and the snake Faunus comes out with an unconscious body left in the small house.

Y/N: Where are the others? They should be here by now.

A hand quickly slaps Y/N's shoulder. The boy doesn't even react, as he turns around to meet Amber eye to eye.

Amber: Where's your sense of fear?

She snickers jokingly.

Y/N: Amber, the boat. Have you chosen one?

Amber: Yup, there's a Schnee brand yacht docked right over there, second one in #7.

Elle: It's fast, energy efficient and even has some Dustin Bieber CDs in there.

Y/N smiled brightly.

Y/N: Oh that's great... We're throwing them out.

Y/N spoke dismissively, heading towards dock 7 with the rest of his possemju, Caine and Asher lagged behind soon enough.

Elle: What? Why!

Y/N: Shhh! It's because I hate Bieber.

Aurora: Honestly me too, he's been proven to be a total douchebag several times.

The gang of 7 leapt onto the ship, first releasing it from it's hold on the docks. Aurora took hold of the wheel as Ace and all the other humans went downstairs into the cargo hold, Elle, Asher and Amber stayed on the deck, since all four of them were all Faunus.

Caine stayed away from the pair, reading a stolen magazine from a convenience store. Ace and Lilith sat away from the only other human on the boat currently.

Lilith: This is just like back at Beacon.

Lilith said.

Y/N: Yup, yes it is.

The boy nodded.

Lilith: So... how did you survive the fall?

The lilac haired girl asked, Y/N felt reluctant about telling her, but alas he settled on opening up.

Y/N: Well, it's complicated to explain.

She shrugged.

Lilith: I can wait. Time's a ton to waste right now.

Y/N: Very well...

-Timeskip- Y/N's POV

The arrival was secretive and met with no crowd, all 7 of us disembarked and headed into the forest. I was good with my Faunus disguise, as I could just place my hoodie over my head but Lilith and Caine were different problems, Lilith's light purple huntress outfit stood out and Caine is a racist asshole who doesn't know how to hold in his mouth.

We settled on leaving Caine on the boat to guard it, and Lilith would stay in the middle of a group formation which we would surround her with, drawing attention away from her.

The hike to one of the bigger settlements was long, and tedious. With the heat beating down on us for a few hours until we finally reached some sign of civilization.

The Faunus were surprisingly welcoming to newcomers. We infiltrated without trouble, though the easy part was over now, what we really needed was a way to get to Adam. And I already had that covered.

Crickets sang as the quilt of night dawned over the town. White Fang soldiers came through the village in a nightly patrol while all 6 of us were waiting in the brushes near the entrance of the town. The plan was simple...

Aurora stumbled out of the bushes with a fake limp.

Aurora: Help! Please.

White Fang Member 1: Huh? What happened?

Aurora: H-humans! Th-They cut my legs!

She pointed into the bushes next to where we all were hiding. The small group of soldiers quickly grabbed her and placed Aurora behind them to protect her. Three of them advanced into the long grass as I unfolded my knife.

Lilith and Asher leapt and tackled two of them to the ground, I heard a squish of flesh from the one Lilith had attacked, he groaned in pain before he died. Before the last one could react, I embraced him from behind as I slowly slit his throat. Blood trickled down my hand as I helped him lie onto the ground in a pillow of grass before he died.

WFM: H-human... sc-scum...

His eyes were fading, I caught sight of his canine-like ears.

Me: What irony, you're among the hunted now my friend.

I smirked devilishly while I whispered. letting him see nothing but my wrathful grin as his life faded away.

I stood back up, as Aurora dealt with the last two, chopping their heads clean off with her power disc.

Amber: Just as you planned Y/N.

She said, patting my shoulder.

Me: That was my part, now it's your turn.

I told.

Amber: I guess it's my chance to try out a little something I've been working out on for a while.

The cat Faunus gloats. Holding up a White Fang mask. Gleaming with excitement at the very thought that encompasses her mind.
