maliks p.o.v.

My name is Malik Bahar and my life is a complete mess. School starts today and I'm officially a sophomore. What makes my sister- "I'M A SENIOR, BITCH!", she screams while slamming my door wide open and jumping on top of me. "Get your fat ass off of me, Leila!", I groaned, pushing her out of my bed. "Oh shut up, Malik. You're just jealous of my amazing body."

May I introduce - my beloved sister Leila. Even though she gets on my nerves all the time, she's the best sister I could wish for.
"Now get up, I don't wanna come too late on the first day." She threw a pillow into my face and ran out of the room.

Getting out of bed with a loud sigh, I made my way downstairs. "Morning Ma", I slurred, still half asleep. "Malik Bahar, how often do I have to tell you to put some clothes on when you come downstairs?! Someone could see you!"

I rolled my eyes and went to the bathroom, knowing that Leila will answer any minute. "It's not like someone wants to see him, mother, no worries." "Fuck off, Leila!", I heard myself yelling, regretting the words as soon as they left my mouth. My mother and Leila inhaled sharply. "Did you hear that, anne? He's so rude!" "I did baby, come sit down, I made menemen. And you, Malik, get out of the bathroom and apologize right now, you don't want me to wake your father, do you?!"

I closed the door as quiet as I could ran upstairs. "Sorry Lee, love you!"

I put on my black skinnies and a white v-neck, throwing a jean jacket over it. "Socks... ah, here you are!", I murmured while putting on the ones from yesterday. I silently wondered if that's disgusting but I really couldn't care less.

"Hello there, basic bitch.", my sister teased. The smirk was gone as soon as my mother gave her 'the-look'. "I'm sorry brother, you look gorge!" She wore a red denim skirt and a Rolling Stones shirt, the red matching perfectly. I hate to admit that my sister has a great style.

My mother looked at the watch on our kitchen wall, pushing us in the hallway. We put on our matching doc martens and hastily grabbed our bags.

"Let's gooo!", my sister yelled and unlocked her Ford Fiesta. I cringed at her volume, turning to my mother. "Have a great day, baby, and don't let anyone bother you. And don't get into fights! And if something happens, call me! Or-" "Mother, stop babying him, he'll do just fine. Get in, M.", Leila groaned. Her bright yellow car gave me a headache so I quickly sat down beside her. I wondered how it is possible to be a morning person while she started the engine and drove to our school like a maniac.

You have to know that my sister always knows how to act. So when she pulled into a parking lot that another guy was waiting for, I already know what was going to happen. Like I said earlier, my sister couldn't drive for shit, and everybody knew that. No one came too close to the neon yellow car. Of course the newbies, meaning freshmen, exchange students and transferred ones, didn't know that. And that's why they had the nerve to question my sisters driving skills.

Someone knocked at her window. She sighed, turning around to face me. Her smirk told me everything. "Watch and learn, baby.", she whispered.

Leila slowly turned the window down, smiling innocently. "Hey, can I help you?", she said sweetly, giving the boy a big smile. He was new. And damn hot. He looked kinda intimidating, but as soon as I spotted his freckles and muscular arms that leaned on my sisters car I was afraid I'd drool. But in a bro kind of way.

The brunette looked at my sister, slowly swallowing. Yeah, Leila was gorgeous. Her shiny, dark hair complimented her heart shaped face and because of her fair skin her big hazel eyes really popped. It was ridiculous how beautiful she was and I kinda hated her for it.

"You- you stole my parking lot.", the newbie stuttered. Leilas eyes widened, as if she hadn't known that. "I did? Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry! How could I not have seen you? I mean..." She chuckled and twirled her hair around her finger. "Do I know you?...", she said then. He looked up, his brown eyes staring into hers. "I'm Stefan, my sister and I are new here. But you look kinda familiar...hmm..." He rubbed his chin, acting like he was thinking. "Ah, yes! You're the girl of my dreams." Smooth.

I made gagging noises, finally getting the attention of the two. "It was nice meeting you, Stefan, but I don't wanna come too late to class. Let's go, sister." I got out of the car, my sister copying my actions. While she locked the car I put an arm around her, pulling her into the school.

"But I didn't get your name!", Stefan yelled, leaving us both chuckling. "Men.", my sister chuckled, rolling her eyes. I gave her a look that made her burst into laughter. "Straight men.", she corrected herself through laughter and ran away. "I hate you!", I screamed after her. "Love you too, bro!"

Well. Maybe this school year wouldn't be too bad after all.
