Join a fandom
Now in order to become an official fanperson, firstly you'll need, you guessed it, a fandom!
Your fandom can be centered around anything:
-Books
-Movies
-Bands
-Celebrities
-TV shows
-Games
Ok, so, when you find a fandom you're interested in joining, you do the following:
1. Study
You're interested in joining, yes, but in order to truly be part of the fandom you have to, no, you don't have to do a blood iniciation, don't worry, you have to study the object the fandom is centered around. Reread the books, rewatch the movies, binge watch the TV show, play/watch let's plays of the game and pay attention to every detail, every line, every glitch etc. You have to make sure 110% that you know absolutely everything.
2. Obssess
Now that you have learned everything there is to know, you have more than enough material to obssess over. Day and night, learning the fandom terminology, the fandom inside jokes, thinking about it all day every day. Slowly, but surely, the fandom is becoming part of you and you are becoming part of the fandom.
Once those 2 steps are completed:
CONGRATULATIONS! You have now officially joined a fandom!
You may proceed to the next step of your long, hard journey to becoming an official fanperson!
