Chapter 6: Worst Nightmare.
After the last period, Sierra walked to her locker and found Luke not far behind. "So, how was your first day, well, minus what happend for most of it."
"Well, I lost my favorite outfit, I got it all bloody, and then, to top it off, I landed myself a spot in detention."
"What? How did you get detention?"
"Rose framed me. I guess I did kind of cross the line, but I think she did get caught by guidance."
"I think she did, I explained what happend then she just said I could go."
"Oh, okay. Well I have to get to detention. Where is it?" Sierra closed her locker with her bag on her shoulder, in her hand she had the pink slip. Two hours.
"Right down the hallway where guidance is, but one room down next to the computer lab."
"Thanks."
"Good luck!"
The bell rang which signaled that school was officially over. The hall flodded with students rushing down and up stairs, in and out of doors, and you could hear the slamming of lockers where ever you looked.
Sierra walked down the stairs and walked to the guidance room, then down to where the computer lab was, and one door next to it. And there she saw, her mother, Rose and the principle. When Sierra walked throught the door, her heart began to race, her face turned bright red and she almost began to cry, then she relised, it would be the most stupid thing to do with the principle AND Rose watching her. Carefully, and quietly, she zipped up her hoodie the nurse gave her. It was black, and had a skull surrounded by flames on the back. she could tell it was for the younger grades but it was the only one that fit her. she zipped up the hoodie and sat in the back and tried to cover her face. Then the principle began to talk. "It is only the first day, and you two are the only ones who managed to get detention. Rose Reeves, and Sierra Weshworld. I am very dissapointed in you both, this is the first time you ever have gotten in trouble.''
At that moment Sierra knew she was about to die, her mother looked up, not relising she did not take addendance for the detention class. "Excuse me, Principle Taynalds, may I speak with Sierra for a moment?"
"Sure, I will say in here for a moment and write the rules on the board."
"Thank you, Sierra Weshworld, I would like to have a word with you in the hallway right now."
"Yes Ma'am" Sierra tried to make it seem like that was not her mom.
They walked into the hallway and Sierra's mom had stern eyes locked on Sierra, but no matter how hard she tried, Sierra knew if she looked at her mother, she would burst out in tears, enough tears to fill the whole school. Maybe even all three floors. "Sierra Liak Weshworld. What has gotten into you. You have never, EVER, gotten detention before. Especially on the first day, in a NEW school! I am VERY dissapointed in you."
"But Mom!, Rose locked me in the Janitor's cloest and made me loose my favorite outfit for, this!" SIerra pointed to her clothes as a tear dropped on her hand, she had not relized she began to cry.
"Sierra, we will finish this at home. But for now, give me your phone."
"Here Mom." Sierra took it out of her pocket and then they both walked back in.
"Do you understand these rules Mrs.Reeves?" Sierra heard as she walked back into the room sitting down in the back again as her mother sat back down at the desk.
Rose nodded, and Principle Tylanolds walked out nodding to Sierra's mom.
"Alright, both of you, you will be writing a seven hundred page essay on what you did wrong, then you will return it to your guidance counsler." She passed papers and two number one pencils in front of them.
"Yes Ma'am." They said at the same time. Sierra gulped, being sure to not make contact with anyone at any time, she looked down at her paper, or glanced every few minutes up at the clock.
Sierra looked up at the clock, not paying attention, she felt something on her face, something warm, wet, slimy, and light.
Picking something off her face, Sierra looked down and saw a waded up ball of paper in her hand covered in slime. Looking up in disguist, she turned to Rose, as she saw she her quickly turned away holding in laughter.
Sierra looked to her mother, who was looking down at the computer screen, then to look up and make eye contact with Sierra, instead of seeing what she was doing, she rolled her eyes and looked back down, obviously still mad of what happened.
