Fanart is what happens when reading/writing words about an OTP isn't enough to illustrate a certain scene from your head. So artists of all calibers brave the challenges and create fanart that you lose your mind over.
Seems like a fair trade.
Fanart is so beautiful and unique and honestly, some very talented artists are out there creating it, so, really, you should be grateful.
Now how you go about viewing fanart is usually organic, for example, it's a muggy day and everything is kinda slow and you're bored so you go to google to find some entertainment and type in your OTP, then you go to images and BAM, 5 hours later you're at the bottom of search results.
