The show

You p.o.v.

I left the pink eyed girl waving. My (e/c) orbs watching her as she went to the find the entrance to the roof. I ran in the direction of the palace wizard Ki. When I got to his quaters I practically came busting through the madsive oak doors.

I scanned the room not seeing him in the common room. I hastily walked in and out of rooms til I spotted a shimmer of silver by a window. I stopped dead in my tracks and made my way to the image I just saw. Being able to transform has given me hightened hearing, the sound of even breathing was coming from the direction of the window.

I stepped silently to the sleeping form. I took a glance at him. His silver eyelashes were thick and silky. He hair wasnt in a ponytail it was tumbling over his face ever so delicately. I knew Ki didn't want to miss the show, so I gently shook him up. He stirred and jumped startled to see me here.

"What are you doing (y/n)?" "Today is the annual star show so get up you lazy bum!" He blinked at my words digesting them slowly. He suddenly shot off like a rocket to his room to change into more comfortable clothes. He came back out and grabbed one of my unoccupied petite hands. He dragged me out of the room. "We will see the stars up close. Transform so we can get the best seat." I giggled at the sight if his excitement. I stepped back so he could transform. After he did he shot off into the sky and stopped a couple of hundred feet to let me do the same.  I did what he said. I grabbed my necklace and followed in prusit after the Phoenix.

My keen eyes focused on the firey orange orb. I didn't think of anything else I kept following the fireball and barely had time to notice that the fireball had stopped in its tracks. I slowed down just in time before I completely ran into him and set myself on fire. The wind swirled around me putting me out.

Ki transformed into a man with wings, I followed his example. I flew up to him so we would be at eye level. "This is where we will see the show." I nodded excitedly it felt good to be able to feel the wind in my (s/c) skin. I looked up at the night sky despite my wings illuminating the area around me I could clearly see the stars above.

Since it was the annual starry sky event.  The night sky was more alive then the usual. It looked like the stars were dancing in raven black night sky some shining brighter then most. I felt a platform under me. I looked down and saw Ki made a place to lay down, stand, or sit. I decided to lay down, I got rid of my wings and decided to absorb the warmth coming from underneath my back.

Ki did the same as me, we lay there in silence. The silence was enough for now. I felt myself slowly drift to sleep. "(Y/n) you're going to miss it!" I opened my eyelids and sat up. My (h/c) blowing in the wind.

I looked around trying to find the first star to fall. It was the one to my far left. I followed the trail of white with my (e/c) eyes. After that one had disappeared multiple started to fall from the sky at different speeds. As my attention was pulled to the stars to my right.  I felt myself being pushed off the platform.

I looked up to see a shooting star nearly took me out. I summomed my wings and steadied myself from the sudden actions. I felt heat besise me. So my attention was on where the star landed. It landed in the nearby forrest. My (e/c) orbs fell on Ki,"Wanna check it out?" "Why not it could be fun."

We flew to the crashed meteor site. In no less then five minutes we were there. I landed a couple feet away. Ki landed on the other side of the gap. We look to each other for the go ahead. I nod and we move. When we get near it the meteor is way bigger then what I imagined.

We krept ever so slowly, I stole glances towards Ki he seemed nervous as well. We kept going until the meteor got bigger. "Bring your wings out so we can see." I summoned my wings and the wreckage was more visable. The meteor had cracked in two havles.

I walked up to the metoer wings still out. I swiped my hand to get rid of the smoke. When I was doing it I was on high alert. When the steam was gone I saw something small....

Hey lovelys sorry for not posting to this story as much. Working nights is killing me. I had to get this chapter out for someone special. WinterTheKitsune Happy birtday girl!!!!! Guys go wish her a very special birthday wishes. She has been totally supportive. And go support her and her stories. Thanks for the support throughout me writing this story. It will get kore interesting i promise.
