The Way You Make Me Feel

prologue

Prologue... 

"Where are we moving dad? "I asked my dad with my 11 yr old voice looking at all the packed boxes scatterd around.  

"Sweetie we are moving to England for my work" dad said.

"Uhm..what?  Why so suddenly?"I replied feeling kind of shocked.

"Sabs...we talked about this earlier once... I know this is difficult... but it is important for the buisness and please don't be sad princess,  you can make new friends there . Its a great place sabs and we can come here sometimes if you want." 

"No dad... its okay .I think it can't be that bad" I said with a small smile hoping it was convincing. Even though I kinda knew we could be moving out earlier , I didn't know it would happen so soon.

"Now thats my girl. It can be difficult in the beggining but you are my brave and strong girl. I am sure you are going to love it." And then he smiled at me reassuringly and left , probably packing .

I was not happy with the decision of moving out, obviously.California was the place I had lived for 6 yrs of my life and I loved everything about it.The weather, the landscape, the people,my school and I guess pretty much  everything... .It was the place I was attached with the most.

The last month had been the best month in California and I enjoyed it a lot. Probably the fact that Cayden had moved out a month ago had something to do with it .Oh who am i kidding!?  i hated him and him moving out had pretty much everything to do with my bliss.

"Sweetie?  Cassidy has come to see you." Mom said opening the door taking me out of my thoughts.

"Oh, Mum could you please tell her to come in?"                                                     " Yeah, sweetie .Just a minute."

 Cassidy has been my greatest friend. She is super sweet ,  with those pretty brown eyes and hair .She tells me her secrets and I tell her mine, well not that we have a lot at our age .Probably the most difficult part of leaving this place would be leaving her. It would be difficult to break the news to her without any one of us ending with the waterworks.

When she arrived she looked really sad and kept looking around to see all the boxes scattered all over the floor.

"Are you going somewhere sabs?" She asked me teary eyed already , I guess my mom already  told her.

"Yeah, we are moving out." I said gloomily.

"When?"  She asked sounding choked.

"I dont know yet but i guess really soon" Oh shoot. Now I was about to cry.

"Oh"

"Yeah"Both our eyes cast downwards.

"Sabs.." she said

"Yeah?"

"I am really gonna miss you"she said with eyes full of tears and hugged me real tight. 

"Me too Cassie ,me too ,I am going to miss all you guys like crazy, especially you." and I let the tears fall from my eyes.

"Bye and Sabs I hope to see you real soon but right now you have to come and meet up with all the guys so that we can have fun one last time before you go." And with that I laughed while she dragged me. Yup , I'm totally gonna miss her.
