I am so so sorry >.< I have been so busy with life and I honestly kinda just didn't have the spirit to write for awhile, but I promise to try and start writing again. I can't promise consistent updates though because I am in the Navy now, where I am for long periods of time out in the middle of the ocean without internet and cell phone services. But those periods do give me a bit more time to be able to come up with more ideas about what to write for my stories and actually get to writing them, hopefully I'll start getting more out and thank all of you for being so patient and kind about this story. Again I apologize for the long wait. Now without further ado, the next part to this SoulxMaka.

Maka POV
My eyes scan the words on the page yet my brain doesn't even process what they see, instead my brain is stuck back at the tiny little apartment shared by my best friend, partner, and boyfriend. What are those knuckleheads up to? My eyebrows furrow in deep thought as I continuously go over their strange actions in my head.
"Either thats one confusing book, or you've got something on your mind," Tsubaki teases softly, pulling me back to my favorite bookstore in Death City, which sits in its own quiet corner of town with minimal traffic coming in and out of the store on a regular basis resulting in the small store becoming my safe haven. I breathe in the damp smell of old leather and well aged paper, a comforting smell.
"Sorry Tsubaki, I don't mean to seem distant, especially since we are supposed to be hanging out here together, I just can't shake the feeling that something is up today," I say flashing an apologetic grin towards the taller more filled out girl. Shaking my head I close the long since abandoned book in my hand, placing it back in its spot on the shelf before turning back to her.
"What do you mean Maka? Why do you think something is going on today?" She asks, her big eyes showing concern.
"Just the way Soul has been acting this morning, he made me breakfast, which he hasn't done since the last time I forced him to, he even woke up earlier than me to start making it. Then when Blackstar came over, he kept cutting him off. Don't get me wrong Blackstar isn't my most favorite person to talk to, but it almost seemed like he didn't want me to know what Blackstar almost said. Just all of his actions seem very suspicious to me," I feel my brow arch up as I bring my hand up to my chin as I fall back into deep thought.
"Don't think too much on it Maka, after all, those boys are just a couple of clowns who just act strangely for no reason sometimes. May I remind you of the first day we ever met Kid? Just don't overanalyze and I think you'll be a lot less stressed in life." the shy girl replies with a sweet smile and a quick hug to assure that she's there for me.
Soul POV
I take a step back to admire my work and grin, she's going to be so surprised. Then again I do suppose that is the point of a surprise party. I look towards the kitchen only to see that Blackstar has already started to stuff his face with the chips that were set out in a glass bowl with the dip right next to it. "HEY! Those are for the party! If you start eating now then there won't be any left later," I scold as I move towards the bluenette attempting to smack the chip from his hand only to succeed in swatting at air.
With an already full mouth, my best friend screams at the top of his lungs, "YOU DARE TO DEFY YOUR GOD? YOU MIGHT BE MY BEST FRIEND BUT I CANNOT LET SUCH BLATANT DISRESPECT CONTINUE. BUT MAYBE I'M FEELING MERCIFUL TODAY... YEAH THAT'S IT. YOU ARE SPARED, BUT DO NOT DISRESPECT ME AGAIN, GOT IT?" He then promptly stuffs another handful of the snack food into his mouth, effectively shutting him up for the moment.
