Ellie's POV

Here I am with Kenneth in an old building.

We decided to live here for a few days.

"What now?"

Kenneth: For now we have to gather our every supply.

I took my bag and took out a small gun, a knife not the butter knife but for like killing, 3 packs of Amos for the gun, And some medical supplies.

"That's all I got."

Kenneth: Good enough. You hang onto the gun and the knife. Tomorrow morning we go.

"Mm."

As I put everything in my bag,

*GUN SHOT* *GUNSHOT* *GUNSHOT* *GUNSHOT* 

"What was that?"

Kenneth: Get down.

We crouhed and looked out the window.

There was a Guy with a Boy shooting infected down.

"What do we do?"

Kenneth: You stay here and don't go anywhere. You keep an eye out.

"Sure."

Kenneth's POV

I took my Gun and walked out.

I went outside and helped the two.

"Get inside!"

They went inside and I closed the door and locked it.

Guy: Thanks.

"Who are you?" I pointed my gun.

Guy: I'm Derick and this is Tyler.

"You related?"

Derick: No. Are you alone?

"No. 'With a girl" 

Derick: Do you mind if we join you?

"No sweat."

We went upstairs and I open the door where Mia was.

As I open the door and Derick walked in I saw Mia hit him in the head.

"Hey calm down!"

Mia: Don't you fucking-!

"Calm down. There fine."

Ellie: Well sorry.

"This is Derick and Tyler."

Ellie: Hey.

Derick: Thanks for the nice Introduction.

Elli just gave him a glare.

Tyler: Hey.

"Tomorrow morning were leaving. You wanna come?"

Derick: If it's fine with you.

"We don't mind. Anyways, If you want food it's just at the next room. I'm sorry if it ain't enough"

Derick: It's okay. Were not even hungry.

I saw Ellie and Tyler talking.

They look like they bonded already.

I sat at the couch looking out the window.

Derick: Yo.

"Hey."

Derick: Your girl?

"No. I promised to look out for her."

Derick: How old is she?

"13. Tyler?"

Derick: 14. How did you met her?

"Well. She was with a Girl. About Tyler's age. The girl promised me to look out for her. But shit got really fast and the girl got infected. We had no choice but to move. Once we were walking, I noticed on her arm was a bite mark. I pointed my gun at her even if she's just 6 and asked why the girl was smuggling with an infected girl. Ellie showed her arm and said it was 1 month old. For the past weeks i noticed nothing happend to her. I decided to ask her why she wasn't turned yet. She said - She was kidnapped and was a test like a monkey and the scientist decided to make a cure for the Infected."

Derick: So you're saying, SHe's an example for the cure?

"I think so. She hasn't turn."

We looked at her and she was laughing with Tyler.

I'm a bit protective of her even though she's a pain in the ass.

Derick: How long have you been together?

"Years"

Derick: Whoa. Really?

"yep. How about you and Tyler?"

Derick: 7 weeks ago.

"How did you met him?"

Derick: I found him inside a house. He seems pretty bad so i decided to let him come with me, 

We talked and stuff until we noticed the kids were asleep.

"Well look's like there asleep. Anyways, I need to prepare the bed for you two"

Derick: Oh no need. You've helped us too much already.

"Are you sure? Well okay. Your bedroom is just across the hall."

Derick: Alright thanks.

Derick picked up Tyler and walked off.

I picked up Ellie and put her at her bed.

"Goodnight."

I put all my stuff down and laid down.
