~•Chapter Three•~

~•3rd Person POV•~

    Your friends gasped when they witnessed you fall backwards and land silently onto the soft lush green grass. Mai and Kuudere stood up and ran towards you. Kuudere slapped her forehead, shaking her head and sighing. She knew that you'd stay up for hours and get only a few hours of sleep before school started, you've been doing it for a while now. It was a problem of yours that inevitably lead to this. If only you'd have more sleep then that wouldn't have happened.

"This is why I get 8-10 hours of sleep every night." Kuudere stated, pinching the bridge of her nose.

"Oh, gosh!" Mai exclaimed as she looked down at your sleeping face.

    Midori, have been on her phone, didn't notice what happened until she looked up. She saw you unconscious and her eyes widened and she let out an exaggerated gasp. But Midori being Midori, she assumed that you had been poisoned.

   She leaped from her seat, dropping her phone in the process and dashed to you. She pushed your other friends aside and kneeled to your side.

"She's dead! We must being her soul back into her body!" she shouted as she grabbed onto your shoulders and began roughly shaking you around.

"(YYYYYYYYYY/NNNNNNNNN)!" Midori literally screamed in your face to awake you before Kuudere could protest. Kuudere and Mai covered their ears from Midori's deafening shrieking. (Lmfao. Gotta love Midori)

The sounds of shouting, and the vigorous shaking of (Y/n)'s body from the green-haired girl immediately awakened the female.

"I'M AWAKE! I'M AWAKE!" (Y/n) yelled as she bolt upright in a panic, her eyes expanded and her pupils dilated from the whites of her eyes.

    Because of how fast and suddenly she sprang up, Midori didn't have enough time to react which caused (Y/n) to collide her forehead into Midori's. (Y/n) groaned in pain at the impact. She brought her hand up and massaged the area where it hurt to smooth the pain.

Kuu and Mai visibly cringed.

    Midori scrunched her eyebrows and rubbed her forehead with her hand. Noticing that she was awake, she beamed, ignoring the pain in her head, she enveloped (Y/n) in a deathly hug- her arms clung on either sides of her body.

"Thank heavens you are alright!" she said. (Y/n) could feel Midori squeeze the life out of her and she struggled to breathe properly.

"M-Midori.." she panted out.

"Yes?"

"Can't..breathe.."

"Oops! Sorry!" she quickly released herself from the hug, allowing (Y/n) to catch her breath. Mai giggled.

"You really need to stop staying up all night." Kuu stated as (Y/n) stood up from the ground, dusting her uniform off.

"I didn't stay up! I just couldn't sleep last night." (Y/n) corrected as she readjusted her skirt. It was true, she had a nightmare and woke up in the middle of the night because of it.

"Okay. You still need to stop staying up most nights because lack of sleep can lead to what just happened." Kuu informed.

"I spend most nights emailing YandereDev!" Midori piped in with a proud grin.

"That's not good for y..- you know what? Never mind." Kuu interrupted herself, knowing that she won't be able to convince Midori to not do that.

    Midori's eyes grew wide as she suddenly remembered, "Oh! My phone!" she bolted to where she had dropped it beside the bench. As she picked it up and saw nothing had happened to her beloved phone. "Phew! It's not cracked!" she said in relief as she walked back over to her friends.
