I stepped out of the cafe into Tomorrowland. Taking a look around, I realized that every ride and all the electricity was still running. That's weird. They would have shut the electricity down for the park if it was under lock down, wouldn't they? Unless they couldn't reach the control panel.. That's when I took off running toward the Astro Orbiter- this was a ride that sat a few hundred feet into the air above the PeopleMover, which is a slow-moving ride that took you over the entire park. Easily the most relaxing ride. The AstroOrbiter was pretty simple though; once you got over a fear of heights, it just spun you around in circles over top the building in mid-air. That's not what I was going there for exactly. To get to the Astro Orbiter, you had to either climb stairs or take the elevator, and what most people thought was the elevator only went up to the ride. I'm not stupid enough to fall for that though. I boarded the elevator and looked everywhere for the emergency panels. Having found it, I noticed there was only a firehat button and and phone button. Well, if it can't be one of them, there's no loss in trying them all. I held both buttons down for a few seconds. The elevator stayed still; nothing happened. Crap, I thought.
I got out of the elevator. Just then, that's when it decided to react. Hurriedly, I jumped back in, seeing where it would take me. Proving my suspicions, it did go down. Now I was in business. As I reached the underground part of Disney, known to employees as the Utilidoors, I took my first look around. I had been to Disney millions of times, but never to the Utilidoors. Everything was white. The walls, the floor, the ceiling. The only thing that offset the white was the yellowy, flourescent lights. I paced down the straight, narrow hallway clutching my knife and frying pan. I walked for what seemed like forever until I reached a large, open area with lots of doors. Hearing voices come from underneath one of the doors, I neared it. British voices? Who would be.. Oh, Lord. Immediately, thoughts rushed into my mind. I imagined who it would be.. Not wanting to alarm any of them, I knocked on the door. "This is Delaware Carter. I'm here to help you." Unfortunately. I heard all the voices silence, then a deadbolt being unlocked. The door cracked open to reveal a worried brown-eyed boy with brown hair that flipped over his overhead.
"They sent a little girl?" His British accent sounded very skeptical.
"Actually, I'm locked in this park with you. Do you guys have any idea what's going on?" I stepped into the room; the boy deadbolting the door again behind me. It was a tiny room, the floors were white carpet and the walls were still white cement. It as almost blinding. There were a few built-in lights in the ceiling which cast a warm glow in the room. Being underground, there were no windows or anywhere that could possibly lead to the outside. Just white couches and chairs. There were five guys in the room with me.
"One Direction, right?" I asked.
They all nodded.
"All we know," Louis Tomlinson started,"is that Disney went on lockdown. We were rushed into this room. Our body guards left us because they thought we got out of the park. And the worker who brought us here left and never came back."
"Well, that's just dandy." I glanced around the room, observing everything.
"If you don't mind my asking, who are you?" Liam asked.
"Delaware Porter. My friends call me Del." I held out my hand, and he shook it.
"What is-?" He pointed towards my belt that held all my supplies.
Sitting in a chair by the long table that the rest of the boys were sitting at, I started explaining each thing. I took a bottle with the propane in it and wick cloth- "This is a molotov cocktail. You light this cloth sticking out of the top, throw it to break the glass, and it'll combust." I took the can with the bacon grease and egg whites in it. "With this, you just boil it then pour water into it, and it'll immediately go up in flames, but afterwards it makes for a wonderful smoke bomb."
