There it was. Right in front of me. Avril Academy, school of the gifted. It was the biggest building I have ever seen.
"This place is huge!!" I gasped at the sight. Miss Moonlight smiled at me.
"Come on out, everyone! Meet our new student, Angel!" She called.
Suddenly, a large group of students burst out the front doors. It was almost like they knew exactly when I was coming. I had no idea how many students there were in the crowd, but the ones who stood out the most to me were some fellow Eevee evolutions. As I examined the crowd, I tried memorizing as many faces as I could. But two Eevee twins interrupted my thoughts.
"HI!" One of them shouted. I jumped and looked at him. He looked pretty normal, just a regular brown Eevee.
"I'm Fluffy! Creative name, huh?" He shot me a playful look. I giggled as a shiny Eevee roughly pushed him aside.
"I'm Fluffy's twin brother, Flip!"
"Who cares about you, Flip?" Fluffy scoffed. "We only have one of me, and we have TWO shiny Eevees. Therefore, even though you're a shiny, I'm still rarer than you." He stuck out his tongue.
"T-that other Eevee is m-me..." Another Eevee emerged from the crowd, not making eye contact with anyone. "I'm J-Jasper.."
A shiny Espeon gave me a warm glance. "My name is Emerald."
"I'm Myrtle!" A Jolteon leaped into the air with excitement.
"Smitty." A shiny Umbreon said. "I'm just kinda here."
"I'm Jupiter, bruh!!" A shiny Jolteon dabbed in front of everyone. Myrtle sighed and brought down Jupiter's arms.
"Sis, no."
"I'm Daisy," a Flareon awkwardly laughed. "In case you're wondering, I wanted to be a Leafeon.."
Miss Moonlight shot her a glance. "I guess we need to work on that a bit more, hm?"
"On what??" I asked. I got no response. I watched the two awkwardly. What were they talking about..?
"HI!!!!" A Sylveon squealed at me. "Im Bella! Wanna be friends??"
"Bella, no. We don't need you making friends with MORE morons," a Leafeon pulled her away from me. "Apologies. I'm Forest."
I stared at him. Somehow just him looking at me made my heart skip a few beats. He was the most handsome Leafeon I've ever seen! Oh no, am I blushing?? Better pretend I don't notice... I thought.
"It's nice to meet you all!' I waved awkwardly.
"I can show you around if you'd like," Bella offered. I shrugged and nodded. "I'm sure you'll be feeling at home in no time!"
That Night...
"Miss Moonlight says we're sharing a room! Isn't that cool??" Bella smiled.
"Yea, I guess it is!" I laughed. "So we share rooms here?"
"Not normally, no. This place is so big, everyone has their own room most of the time! You see, I'm graduating from Avril Academy in a couple days so that means I'll be moving out soon. And since we're running low on rooms, I'm gonna let you have mine all to yourself after I go!"
"How long does one attend the school?"
"Normally six years, that's how it's been for most Pokemon who's set foot in here, including me."
"How long has Forest been going?"
"Four. But why are you so interested in him? Do you like him?"
"Ummm..." I felt myself blush.
"It's fine," Bella shrugged. "You definitely aren't the first. Almost every girl in the school has fallen for him. But he's always been a player, so I'd keep my distance from a romantic relationship with him."
"Oh..."
"So Angel, can I see your wings?"
"Oh, sure!" I smiled. I opened my wings and confidently looked at Bella. I felt a lot better showing them off now.
"They're so pretty!" Bella stroked them in awe. I laughed and folded them.
"So if everyone here has a special ability... What can YOU do?"
"Well, I have the ability to create rainbows!" Bella held out her paw and a tiny rainbow formed right above it.
"Ooooooh..." I put my paws on my cheeks and squished them. "That's cool!"
"Really? That's like, the lamest thing I can do!"
"Show me more then!"
Bella smiled and waved her arm around in the air, leaving a rainbow trail behind it. "That's not all I can do!"
