The suns were setting on the horizon as Arri watched his two eldest children leaving their home for the last time.Both worked for the government,one as a scientist,the other as a general.Two completely different jobs,yet they still managed to stay together.The eldest was a general,they led their troop with pride.The younger was a scientist,the best in the nation.This is why they had to leave,they were the best of the best and nothing less.Arri's other two children stood behind him with tear-stained faces,they loved their older siblings very much,and hated that they had to go.
Arri turned to burry his head in his husband's chest as he cried.He knew that they would talk to their children over video chat,but that didn't help to nullify the pain that he felt in their leaving permanently.They may never see them again.
"Roowk?Will we see our children again?"Roowk closed his eyes and started to sway after a while. Roowk's ability is foresight,but it comes at a cost.He becomes very weak and stays that way depending on how far he looked into the future."Roowk?Are you all right?"
Roowk swayed some more before answering,"Yes,to both of your questions..."A silent tear rolls down Roowk's face."But not in the way we both want to."Roowk collapses into Arri's arms after saying that simple,yet dooming,phrase.
