"Hey there." I looked up at Stiles as he sat in the swing next to me. "Mind if I join you?"I took my headphones out of my ears. "Not at all."
He started slightly swinging, and I giggled at his goofiness. "What are you doing out here?"
I sighed. "I come out here to think."
He slowed his swinging. "Care to share?"
"I wouldn't want to." I spun my swing. "It's depressing."
He skidded to a stop. "Depressing talks call for fort." He took my hand and dragged me up the slide to the fort. I laughed as he sat down.
"Stiiiilllleess" I whined, leaning on the wall of the fort as he sat directly across from me. "Can't we just talk about something else?"
"Nope." He popped the p. "Because I know you well enough that when you don't talk about your feelings you get more and more upset and then you explode and that's not fun for me."
I laughed. "Okay but before we start I have a question."
"Shoot."
"How the hell did you know I was here?"
"Well," he started. "I went to your house to ask you something and your mom said you were probably here."
I propped my leg up and wrapped my arms around it. "And what if I wasn't here?"
"I would've searched day and night."
I playfully rolled my eyes. "You're an idiot Stilinski."
"You're beautiful Cooper."
I looked down at my hands. Stiles and I had always had some sort of thing, but he never acted on it. I wondered why he was so forward. "Wow What got into you tonight?"
He bit his lip. "Confidence I guess."
"Confidence is sexy Stilinski."
"I know that's what my mom always told me."
I laughed, and played with the rings on my fingers. We sat in silence for a little, before he moved to sit next to me.
"You gonna tell me why you were out here tonight?"
"You gonna tell me why you were at my house?"
"One thing at a time Cooper."
I laughed. "Just had a lot of thinking to do."
He sighed. "About?"
You. "Stuff."
He huffed and looked up at the roof of the fort. "I'll make a deal with you."
I raised my eyebrow. "Yes?"
"You tell me what you were thinking about," he started. "And I will tell you what I wanted to ask you."
"Oh come on that's not fair."
He shrugged. "Life's not fair Brielle. Spill."
I sighed. "Well,"
"Well?"
"Well,"
"So is well going to be our always?"
I rolled my eyes and slapped his chest. "Don't quote romantic movies!"
"Sorry sorry." He laughed. "I'm waiting."
I huffed. "There is something that I've been wanting to tell someone, but I'm afraid it will blow up in my face."
Stiles's eyebrows scrunched up. "That was vague."
"But it's what I was thinking." I turned to face him. "Your turn."
He tapped his chin. "Okay so I was going to ask you something that I should've asked you a while ago but I've been too much of a bitch to ask and I don't even know if it's a good-"
I leaned forward, and connected our lips. Stiles sat frozen for a split second, before moving his hand to my back and his lips with mine.
He pulled away and I looked into his whiskey colored eyes. "Stiles Stilinski. I like you."
"Brielle Cooper. Will you go out with me?"
